Unfortunately, the legal system can charge you with whatever they want even if they can't prove it. If you've never been involved with the law, they often charge you with outrageous crap just so they can scare you into settling.

A previous time she got charged with manufacture and distribution of weed. She got out of that one but it cost 10K in lawyer fees to get her clear. she had like 5 vape pens but because it was liquid THC they tried to charge her with M&D felony even with a medical card.

They busted her on a traffic stop and even when she presented her prescription they still took her to jail.
