Eagles will know their opponent before they play should they beat the Niners.

So if the Bears lose, will Sirianni rest his starters knowing that we've secured a home game in the next round?

I think the bigger question is with this offensive staff, will we be able to tell the difference?

Uber athletic Kelee Ringo should be able to tackle 39 year old Josh Johnson around the 4 yard line if he explodes to the ball rather than doing whatever the hell he decided to do.

I've never been so wrong about a player. What an absolute trainwreck his is at CB.

It was the most inexplicable football play I have seen.

Looking at the snap counts, there's some weird stuff that happened. Not sure if Nick changed his strategy and wanted to go for the win so kept some guys in longer than he expected.

Bigsby was good yesterday but if rest was the priority, why is he playing the most snaps with Shipley playing only 26 and Dillon only 2?

It would have been nice to give Fred Johnson a bit of a break instead of having him out there the whole game. He's been dealing with some injuries recently too. He will be a key piece as 6th O-line and priority backup in the playoffs. Understand you can't sit everyone though.

D-line is one the most confusing. Davis, Ojomo, Hunt and Smith all played close to their regular snaps. Davis and Ojomo in particular could have used the rest, especially after filling in for Carter the last month.

LB: maybe they wanted to give Campbell some reps to help him grow. A little odd Mondon didn't play at all on defense.

Was really hoping that Campbell would flash yesterday, but he didn't. Trotter looked to be the best LB on the field. Campbell has really regressed since the beginning of the season. He was Alex Singleton yesterday in the sense that he made tackles, but none that really mattered. Just stat padding tackles. Trotter flashed and stood out and made me say, this guy could have a role. Campbell made me say meh. No denying his talent, but I'm just down on him.

Honestly, I would bring back Adoree if he can be had for 1 year, less than $3 million. His deal was 1 year, $1.755 million this year with only $500k guaranteed. 1 year, $2.5 million with $1.0 million guaranteed should work -- can't imagine the league will be beating down his door.

I agree. It's not going to take a lot to sign him and he's been steadily better over the season.

Kelee Ringo thought he threw it. It's absurd that he fell for it to such an extreme, but Josh Johnson did a head fake and then Ringo turned around. He got cooked, no other way around it.

Not that they shouldn't anyway, but if the Packers win, the Eagles better play with their hair on fire.

Yup said this last night no reason Davis should’ve been playing. Entering the game he had played 264 more snaps than 2024. And 133 more than any season in his career. Most snaps of his career and Carter being out, he was the guy at DT. If any DL needed a week off it was Davis. The fact we stated we were resting starters and then ran guys like hunt, Davis and Ojomo their normal reps is frankly idiotic. At least smith can say he missed time so he could use the reps. But those 3 played every week all could’ve.

Winning or losing didn’t really matter all that much to the eagles as that’s why we gave majority of our starters rest. So why not just use Cameron Williams from start to finish if you are activating him for basically week 18. Let Fred Johnson or steen get more rest. call up another DT like @vikas83 (believed it was him) mentioned and just have that DT, Robinson and Graham just play the DT snaps. Frankly don’t care if Robinson plays 100% if the snaps he’s never playing in the playoffs and if he does we are toast. Run him into the ground just to get through a week 18 game that basically made into it didn’t matter.

I said this in 2023 don’t have half in and half out. That’s how someone you don’t want getting hurt winds up hurt in a game that frankly didnt really care if you won or not. In 2023 bit them in the ass when brown got hurt. Fortunate this game it didn’t bite them in the ass with someone like Davis or hunt getting hurt

He needs more density to run through trash and bring down ball carriers, he's got the frame for it. He's also only had a couple years of experience at LB, so playing should help there. Nakobe/TrotJr are pretty maxed out in both respects.

I was feeling the same. Trotter looked great out there. Just seems like something is missing with Campbell right now.

I know we love having our Kelly Green/Midnight Green discussions, but boy what a difference the red helmet made for the Bills yesterday. Their old red helmet should be their primary helmet starting yesterday. Night and day what it does for them. They looked like the Bills. The Jets 1960s throwbacks are also elite and should be their primary again.

I could also see them trading for a corner. A team going through a regime change and willing to dump a corner on last year of rookie deal or wanting to just rebuild and move a guy to get off the contract (don’t think this is a Denzel Ward but a lesser tier no. 2 corner)

Riley Moss for the set.

As long as said Corner is not from the Raiders. Then, maybe.

I know judging a draft class in year 1 is premature and silly, but man after 2025 this class was such a disappointment.

The free rush on Johnson that he completely whiffed didn’t help matters much

Imo this past draft was always more for the future. I think Campbell and Mukuba thought could contribute right away. Campbell immediately with Dean out for a month. Mukuba likely was not expected to take over later in the year. But brown being awful changed that. But guys like Williams, Hinton, McWilliams and even Kendall were developmental guys to have cheap for years 2-4 of their contract. Frankly Robinson looked poor yesterday. Imo i hated that pick cause i thought his big jump in college was mainly playing in college for 6 years.

I wonder if there could be a Nolan Smith trade for a CB. Not because I want to see Smith traded, but because he's most likely the odd man out between the 3 young edge rushers and you might as well get something in return for him rather than see him walk.

Only way they could deal Nolan is if they get a contract done with Phillips. Fine doing that if Phillips is back and they made the decision that hunt was getting the contract over smith. Still have a harder time seeing them do it this offseason. Think that’s a 2027 discussion. Unless take a pass rusher early then becomes more viable to do it now.

I figure Nolan is still worth the 5th year option, so there's some time.

As an aside, Q's agent is going to demand a 5 year, $1 billion extension after what we saw yesterday.

I think I’d give it to him
