Tuesday at 03:09 PM5 days I've never come across anyone as terrible on a podcast as The Philly Special producer Cliff. Anytime he starts talking I have to immediately turn off the podcast and switch to somwthing else. He has a 100% success rate of ruining every podcast.

At least Jerry didn't wait two weeks this year to move on from a coach.

I wish they'd make a Philly Special Variety Show or something where they can put all the talk about parking, bathroom etiquette, or whatever else they go on about that has nothing to do with the Eagles at all. I used to edit the podcast myself in Audacity to remove all that junk but it's just not worth the effort.

Tuesday at 03:37 PM5 days Off topic but Curt Cignetti has not had a losing record in 15 years as a head coach. I only looked him up because Rich Eisen thinks the Raiders should try and get him...he has no professional coaching experience, not that means he can't do the job, but that's a pretty big leap.

Howie said they spent the entire second half of the first round trading up for him because they had him as the 10th best prospect in the draftMoved up ONE slot to get him though. Yes, it was 1st round, but many teams did not see his value in the early slots to get him. They could have other needs to address and passed on him. He did OK as a rookie and could improve with experience. Some teammates remarked that he was a tough guy to play against in practices, which would be a strong endorsement.

You get maybe 25-30 minutes of football talk and then 45+ minute of non-football related BS mailbag questions. Sheil has no idea why people are listening to a football podcast.

If he was serious about going to the NFL, he'd wait till a good respectable franchise has an opening. Stay away from the Browns, Jets, Raiders, teams like that.
Tuesday at 05:03 PM5 days Author Vic's presser....SF has a really good scheme. Purdy operates it well. Nice skill guys.Shanahan's offense is packaged well together. Everything they do has a purpose. Very good at motion. He expects Dean to play!!Purdy is a really good scrambler. He has high expectations for Hunt. Still room to improve. (FYI, he led the team in both Sacks and INTs)

Tuesday at 05:20 PM5 days Doesn't feel like there's a lot of juice for a playoff game. The power of Sirianni/Patullo.
Tuesday at 05:27 PM5 days Surprised they moved on from Kingsbury, unless he wanted to leave. They had a good thing going last year. Hard to blame Kingsbury for this year when they've had so many injuries especially to Daniels and McLaurin.

Tuesday at 05:31 PM5 days McLane said Lane is progressing and will test the foot before the game. A bit of a weird situation. When he got hurt, they announced it was a lis franc injury that didn't need surgery(non displaced) and will return this season. They didn't put him on IR. Multiple insiders said he was ready to play, but then Eagles held him out I believe because they were playing games they could win anyway and were a virtual lock for at least the 3 seed regardless. I'm under the impression he could have played these last few games if they were playoff games, but was held out as a precaution. We'll see if he truly is still recovering.
Tuesday at 05:43 PM5 days Nick won't fire KP so Lurie/Howie will have to force him like they did to Doug. If that happens, what happens to the relationship between HC and front office as well? They already basically made him hire new coordinators after 2023.

Pre-chose an unqualified buffoon for OC, let jurgens and Dickerson play hurt all year long, changed nothing on offense all year long despite blowing giant donkey D the entire time against anyone who wasnt the raiders. The list goes on and on, and lurie let it happen for an entire season. He should be embarrassed at the offense this team has.If by some miracle they ein the super bowl this year I don't want a single offensive player getting praised, MAYBE smitty. The defense has carried this limp D offense the entire yearGoedert has been good and I don't think you can place any blame on Tank or Saquon.
