He was the 31st pick in the draft, which means he had a 2nd round grade, what is the pedigree you are referencing? He played really well all season for a 2nd rounder forced to start from the first game on the 2024 #1 defence. He beat out a 3rd year Trotter, Jr. for that role and never relinquished it to him. Dean is better right now at MLB, and Baun has Campbell's natural LB position for the next two years. Really good pick with really good production. And by all accounts he will work his ass off on the off season to get better.

Being drafted 31st does not mean you had a second round grade. Howie said they spent the entire second half of the first round trading up for him because they had him as the 10th best prospect in the draft

Eberflus is out in Dallas. Another new DC for them next year.

I think you're falling for the internet thing of calling out one outlier opinion. I don't think most Eagles fans consider Vick one of the best Eagles QBs. That's silly.

I don’t know is contract status haven’t looked it up but Woolen the corner for the Seahawks was talked about at the trade deadline. He had a great rookie year then got beat out by Josh Jobe this year.. didn’t play much the first part of the year till they decided to start playing a lot of 6db alignments. He has looked pretty good the back half of the season.

Mostly it does. What Howie said right at the draft can be hyperbole. If a really good drafting team on a roll says the guy picked 31st is a top 10 talent then they aren't the only one. He'd be top 10 on most boards. Could the shoulder have moved him down? Sure, but 21 spots, not so sure. Anyway, I thought he played really well for us, just Dean is better for this defense today.

He would be a guy that would intrigue me. kind of think he’d have a decent market. I said in training camp, the eagle should’ve went and signed rasul Douglas for dirt cheap. Even if he stunk, you could’ve always just released him and moved on and it wouldn’t have cost you that much. Douglas actually played well this year even with a bad dolphins team.

Could these horrible plays somehow result from bad terminology? Like using words that sound alike when there's crowd noise?

I've never come across anyone as terrible on a podcast as The Philly Special producer Cliff. Anytime he starts talking I have to immediately turn off the podcast and switch to somwthing else. He has a 100% success rate of ruining every podcast.
