Off topic but Curt Cignetti has not had a losing record in 15 years as a head coach. I only looked him up because Rich Eisen thinks the Raiders should try and get him...he has no professional coaching experience, not that means he can't do the job, but that's a pretty big leap.

Supposedly that's who Penn State was targeting when they fired Franklin before the end of the season. Indy said "not so fast, my friend" and made it worth Cignetti's while to stay at Indiana.

Baldy said he doesn't think Lane will play, so we'll see.

Big Dom revenge game.

Did he give a reason?

Agreed.... and no more of this "promoting within the team" BS...

It's not just promoting from within but also promoting his bff without any real thought to the merit.

You know who else was "stubborn as hell"? Andy was, and he went on to win three SBs.

Not here.

Not ready because of the foot. Baldy is close with Lane, but so are others who say he's playing so who knows.

That kind of injury is really finicky. There are so many little bones in the foot. One day you’re fine and the next day is miserable. Those injuries can take a long time to feel normal and not tweaking it every other day.

Nick won't fire KP so Lurie/Howie will have to force him like they did to Doug.

If that happens, what happens to the relationship between HC and front office as well? They already basically made him hire new coordinators after 2023.

Who cares? They've allowed Sirianni to dip his chip twice now after successful prior seasons, and they were both absolute disasters offensively. He should never have a say in an OC moving forward.

Very funny P-e-n-i-s!

Why isn't anyone requesting Patullo for HC interviews? ESP said he was a hot candidate and he was on an ESPN list!

Idk but I’m glad we don’t have the distraction and Vic basically Has a "Go F yourself” sign on his forehead so we’re good there 🤣

ESP on WIP arguing why Sirianni has been more important to the Eagles success this season than Fangio and Sirianni would be the harder coach to replace. Dude will never pass up an opportunity to be a contrarian.

IDK about that but I’d hire Kingsbury in a min.

Patullo being distracted from the offense might be a net positive

Yeah I’m not going to say Sirianni is a dime a dozen, but Vic is a defensive mastermind. There’s really no comparison lol

This is a 6 win team this season without Fangio.

That's just looking at the roster instead of the game. If we had a coach that could actually use the freaking talent then no one is stopping us. Sadly we have Nick and KP

We're so lucky he's staying and has no interest in being a HC lol

I agree. I guess I'm curious how he responds. Does he get an ego about it and want more say and control? Or does he do what he's told? I think a lot depends on next season with a new OC. Who is that new OC? Do they have success? They actually have a hard schedule next year facing some tough defenses. I wonder if Fangio complains that his defense is elite and the offense holds them back. Some serious discussions need to happen this offseason. If they try to return with Patullo, ugh. It's weird to think about moving on from a SB winning coach - again - but Howie has built a roster that should be a dynasty with repeat championships so don't want to squander that.

What, you dont want Aaron Moorehead promoted to OC?

I heard he runs an innovative offense called the "Wide Eyed Offense"

He was the 31st pick in the draft, which means he had a 2nd round grade, what is the pedigree you are referencing? He played really well all season for a 2nd rounder forced to start from the first game on the 2024 #1 defence. He beat out a 3rd year Trotter, Jr. for that role and never relinquished it to him. Dean is better right now at MLB, and Baun has Campbell's natural LB position for the next two years. Really good pick with really good production. And by all accounts he will work his ass off on the off season to get better.

He was the 31st pick in the draft because he had injury issues. He was highly regarded and most considered he had top 15 talent.
