Toth should be playing C over Jurgens. Just shut him down until 2026. He's a big liability this season for the OLine, IMO.

Toth was listed as DNP yesterday- had that changed?

For those who take exception to resting players…Calcaterra and Toth may not be available Sunday. Imagine what people would be saying about not resting if that were Goedert and Mailata.

I really try not to root for injuries, but I was hopeful Grant wouldn't play this week so KP couldn't use him as a blocker.

Encouraging

During the game I asked if I was a bad person because I hoped he was done for the year. He was already hurt so technically I didn't wish an injury on him.

Lots of good OC candidates. The double edged sword of making a deep playoff run is that they’ll miss out on all of them.

Yup. If we go deep in the playoffs we probably won't even hire a new OC anyways:(

Doesn't look good for Sunday. He's not even putting any weight on his one foot.

He was also jamming out to Katie Perry

Dean is an inspiration, I’m not sure a single person that’s never seen him or knows who he is would see him and believe he’s an NFL player.

Deniz was going through the numbers and they basically counter the narrative that Sirianni and Patullo have been pushing all season.

"We struggle on 1st down that's why our offense stalls"

Data shows the Eagles are actually pretty good on first down in success rate. Middle of the pack.

Eagles though are a different story on 2nd down. On 2nd and 7 or under the Eagles are good. On 2nd and 8 or more they're terrible. Worst in the NFL in success rate.

But weirder, the Eagles are better on 3rd down when it's 3rd and 6 or longer than they are when it's 3rd and 5 or shorter. So 3rd and longs actually haven't been their biggest issue like Sirianni and Patullo have said. They are worse converting 3rd and 5 or under.

So they've been telling us all season it's because they struggle on 1st down and that leads to 3rd and longs and that's why the offense sucks. The data doesn't back that up. The question is whether the coaches know this and are just spouting off nonsense to obfuscate or if they legitimately don't even know the strengths and weaknesses of their own offense.

And also Patullo said this week in a press conference "We aren't going to force it" when being talked about the Niners having major weaknesses. Basically the Eagles mentality is "We are the Eagles, we do what we do and we don't worry about attacking weaknesses."

Maybe it's arrogance just as much as stupidity with Sirianni and Patullo.

Sadly that’s a win if he’s not cause we can’t call plays he doesn’t do well anyway

No.

@we_gotta_believe For anyone who might have wondered about my "over” 9.5 wins bet on the Packers this year, it turns out that my $25 ticket was worth absolutely zero when I went to Parx this afternoon. Their 9-7-1 record did not result in a "push” whereby I would at least get my money back. It was an outright loss.

Thankfully I was smart enough to hedge my prospects by betting enough money on the Vikings in the season finale against the Packers so that I was guaranteed an approximate equal amount no matter who won the game.

Imagine what people would be saying if no one of consequence got hurt and we managed to secure the 2 seed by playing our starters.

The absolute WORST thing that could happen to us diehard fans is for the Eagles to extend their playoff push and win the Super Bowl. That way we’d probably be forced to retain all of our coaches and we’d have to try to repeat again with this crap staff. That would be soul crushing indeed.

Trent Williams practicing. Never thought he wouldn't play.

If we win the Super Bowl, Patullo would definitely be the hire of the last team still looking for a HC.

Eagles up to 5.5 point favorites.

I don’t know, that kind of sounds like hitting the lottery and worrying about the taxes. It’s not a guarantee that they win it all next year with a new OC.

But yeah, you’re in one of two boats in my opinion: you either want the offense to look embarrassing and they lose on Sunday to rip the band-aid off or you want them to win the whole thing.

Speaking of 22 years...

Over the past 22 seasons the Niners have either missed the playoffs (15) or made it as far as the NFCCG (7).

I'd just let Jaelan Phillips bullrush him into the medical tent all day long. I hope he does play

It would be a miracle for the Eagles to have a shot at McDaniel or Monken, unless they lose to the 49ers.

I want absolutely nothing to do with Daboll, he's a total nut and not a fit at all.

And McDaniel is a fit?

A helluva better fit than that idiot Daboll.
