I think being able to train will help him. I do think part of it is mental. Part of it is might not have been fully healed and came back too soon. Part of it he didn’t get to really do his normal training that he’s accustomed too

He also acted like an unserious joke down there as well. I just don’t see him as a fit. Sure he can scheme and play call (sometimes). Regardless, I retract my statement…the photos of his winter fit and his Rudolph nose in Philly would be epic.

Not a fan of Daboll either, but NYG’s are more of a joke than Miami.

Also, resting starters had zero to do with losing. Most of it was KP going brain dead at half time and calling the worst half of his short lived OC career. Then the DPI’s. Had KP used a single brain cell in the second half we’d have had the 2nd seed.

We will need to fire Patullo Sunday night in order to land McDaniel. Lurie should tell him he is in charge of the entire offense and Siris in season replacement. Also he is biracial so he fulfills the Rooney Rule. We can hire him on the spot i think.

Nick needs very experienced coordinators or former head coaches on both side of the ball. This position is not for a trainee.

I don’t view McDaniel as a leader of a locker room, which is a problem for a HC, but as a coordinator he doesn’t necessarily have to be that.

KP is currently the OC and possibly the worst since the Buddy era. Reich is too old to become a HC again. I'd take him in a second. That's what we are doing here. Trying to find someone who won't leave and isn't incompetent.

Yep. An average OC would be doing well with that talent even if the OL has issues. The defense is good enough to beat anyone and it's about to go to Vic playoff level. One guy is literally holding the entire organization back from two in a row.

Worse case scenario is that we get blown out by San Fran and they keep Patullo with all this talent looking for jobs.

@ToastJenkins You laughed at this but with that defense and the talent on offense they would. 21 points a game would probably do it. They weren't anything special, but they were competent and that's all you need with Brown, Smith, SB, and hopefully playoff Hurts....with playoff Vic on the other side.
