On the SF injury side, I’m more intrigued with the Trent Williams and Pearsall injuries. I trust Fangio to successfully scheme against those to try to get any sort of an advantage. But on their defensive side, I don’t think it makes much of a difference. They went against Chicago’s backup LBs and did nothing against them. I don’t trust Patullo to gameplan against a high school defense.

We have the worst run blocking center in the league, we aren't running on anyone between the tackles, unless the coaching staff makes a decision and sits Jurgens, which they won't, thing is we can't run much outside either because Goedert's blocking has also dropped off a cliff and Calcaterra couldn't block worth a toot on a tin whistle in the first place.

@mattwill

Tough game to predict given how inconsistent the Eagles O is this year. I think it all depends on whether Lane, Cam, and Landon can generate any push forward or not.

That’s a bigger WR bust name than JJ Arecga-Whiteside

He’s like 5’11” 180, so just a small bust.

This is how fake news starts. At no point do we know what the other guy says. He could have said, "Who do you want as next coach?", "Who's interviewing first?"

Lipreading is an assumption on it's own. To totally make up what the other guy says without even seeing his mouth is next level.

Giants taking a WR top 5 with so many other needs is a very Giants thing.

And he has us taking a WR because he probably thinks we'll being trading Brown

Probably should go with Denzel Boston then, unless Fran is really high on Cooper as a X receiver and thinks we'll play a lot of 11 personnel (and actually use 3 wideouts...).

Why does no one get on Kevin Burkhardt for being a giant generic cornball? Al is one of a kind and the GOAT.

Sorry you had to go through that. I’ve said the same thing to people with Jurgens and his back. As somebody who’s going through a major back issue over the last 8 months, you don’t realize how bad it is until it limits a lot of what you can do. Furthermore, when it does get better you’re cautious about almost everything you do as you don’t want it to happen again. I’m not so sure Jurgen‘s trust his back. He could be compensating trying to avoid having his back get injured again.

He had back surgery this offseason which means some nerve impingement. It's possible there was even motor function impairment because of the nerve injury. Even without that impact, he still had to rehabilitate and re-condition his back. He has lost play strength and mobility which has not improved during the season.

I thought it was a joke.

They should just AI his voice and let it call the games. It would be better. Not even kidding

I guess when I sat in shock at the end of LII and wasn't quite sure the game was over because of Al's very understated response to the Eagles winning their 1st SB... yeah, I became less of a fan.

Would you rather have Saquon or CMC on your team for this weeks game??

Screw CMC. SB has a ring.

Good breakdown here:

Shanahan will be salivating if he sees CMac singled up like this for most of the game. Our LBs are good in coverage, but they'll get eaten alive if they're the ones being tapped on the shoulder to handle him.

It might take CMC a little time to get into the playbook, so I'll go with Saquon.

Yeah, I’ve also said that all season. these players aren’t robots. Just cause you have surgery. Doesn’t mean the start of next season after six months off you’re gonna be 100%. He basically was just rehabbing to get himself back for training camp/preseason and the start of the season. So he didn’t even have his normal workout routine.

I see when people say maybe he’s never gonna be the same. That may be true. But we won’t know until 2026 when he gets an entire off-season to do his normal workout/training and see what he is for 2026. Now if he has to have another back surgery that’s concerning. But if he doesn’t have to have another surgery and he can train and not have to rehab all off-season I’m betting he’s probably gonna be better in 2026.

Seeing as we don’t throw passes to the RBs. Gimme Saquon

Two things...neither CMC nor Saquan matter on this team right now between our banged up O-Line and Patullo. Both would or are being wasted.

The banged up line is only a problem because either Stout or KP refuse to play healthy players vs loyalty to people who can't move. Two people played better than Cam and will be on the bench. Play either of them and the line will look a lot better and possibly help cover Dickerson's limitations. They also play a TE who can't block which makes the OL look even worse.

I don't want anyone to get injured, but if Cam and Calc went down again the offense would play better. That's not a wish, but a fact.
