I guess it depends on what you think of the Rams.

They are meh to me. Especially lately.

They're double digit underdogs. I can't remember the last time that big of an underdog won a playoff game. It would be one of the biggest upsets in the last several years, maybe decades? Not impossible, but you're talking about making some serious money if you bet on the Panthers to win outright and they actually pull it off.

The weather here in Charlotte is supposed to be pretty bad for the Panthers game. Windy and rain / thunderstorms.

The way the Rams have looked for the last month, a Panthers win is absolutely in play.

They have been so disrespected all week.

I would rather they change their font to make it easier to distinguish between an O and a Q.

They don't care about you. P

I'd like to play Packers just so we can do the sneak a bunch of times (hopefully successfully) because I'm petty 🤷‍♂️

We know who we play, neither this graphic nor the Saturday games changes that

We don't know who we play next week. We will after today's games though.

Uh, if the pack win, they have the Seahawks and we draw the Rams, right?

Yeah no thanks, give me the Bears please.

I’m really torn because I absolutely see your point of view. I also like the Bears a lot more than the Packers.

Obviously if the Panthers win the early game, then I’m all Go Pack Go. Otherwise, I’m not sure what I’m going to do.

There’s also the "screw the Cowboys draft spot” element to a Green Bay victory since Dallas has their first round pick.

I would be shocked if the panthers-rams game was still close after the first half, count me in the disrespectful group cause I don't think the Panthers beat them twice in the same season

Forgot to include the special teams penalty on the kickoff that backs them inside the 15.

Had to use AI and some articles (yahoo used stathead from 2000 up until the wild card round of 2023. Figured th lines for the next 3 postseasons) but since 2000 there’s been 28 games in the playoffs where a team was a double digit underdog and only 7 have won (better than I expected— just 1 wild card round). Since the titans did it last the closest was last year. The commanders were 9.5 point underdogs.

2001 AFC championship: New England (+10) beat Pittsburgh 24-17

2001 Super Bowl XXXVI: New England (+14) beats St. Louis 20-17

2007 AFC divisional: San Diego (+11) beats Indianapolis 28-24

2007 Super Bowl XLII: N.Y. Giants (+12.5) beat New England 17-14

2008 NFC divisional: Arizona (+10) beats Carolina 33-13

2010 NFC wild card: Seattle (+10) beats New Orleans 41-36

2019 AFC divisional: Tennessee (+10) beats Baltimore 28-12

Panthers by a million

There are strong offenses with rocky defenses like Buffalo and SF and Chicago

Then there are strong defenses with rocky offenses like Houston and Philadelphia and Denver

What is the All-Offense reverse version of the 2000 Ravens? The 2015 Broncos? The 2001 Patriots or the 1990 Giants or the 2023 Chiefs? There isn’t one. In the history of the playoffs, that second group almost always comes out on top

I trust this team on the road in Chicago more than I do against the Rams at home.

Rams are paper tigers.

I couldn’t believe how good he was this year based on how poor he played here. Coaching matters.

Keep in mind he was the player who said he was doing his own game planning for upcoming games. It’s safe to say whatever the coaching situation was, was a disaster.

The rams typically only play 1 half. So that game should be close regardless.

Small chance we could host the Panthers in that scenario
