Regarding Hurts’ fumble last night, there are fumbles, and there are bad fumbles. Do you think his fumble last night was a bad fumble?

No, he was nearly on the ground, 50/50 whether he could have touched his knee down prior, had seemingly appropriate 3 point grip

It’s still a fumble, he still deserves the negative stat against him, but that was an awesome play by the defender

Night and day from his Super Bowl butterfingers

On paper the talent is top tier but we're not seeing it in the game and that's the frustrating part

Someone should be open on most plays when DG, Smith, and Brown are going out, especially with SB in the backfield. Can you imagine what the Chiefs, Rams or 49ers would look like with that talent? Even with Hurts and his flaws at QB. It's a criminal level waste of talent that Howie has given them. Something has to change and we all know what it is. Is that easy to do in the middle of the season? No, but BD is out there. Bring him the hell in and put him in the booth as a consultant talking to KP when the defense is on the field. This is what I'm seeing, this is what you should be trying, how about these adjustments. During the week how about we tweak these plays or add this into things. Nothing drastic, but if I'm Howie and Jeff I'm saying screw Nick and what he wants. He can call plays, which is another problem. They have time to address things before the season is wasted and the defense is worn to crap from being on the field so much. Even if BD says no someone out there has a better mind than those two.

That's hyperbole. That's the first time the Eagles were shut out for a quite a while (in a meaningful game).

Definitely hyperbole. That said their offense goes into these 20-30 mins stretches where they can barely gain a first down. Also 2 out of the last 4 games they’ve scored 0 points in one of the 2 halves. There’s also games like Denver they score 2 mins into the 3rd then the next 28 mins do very little or rams where score early in the 1st then next 25 mins they can barely move the ball and have more turnovers than 1st downs. Definitely hyperbole but nearly every game their offense has these lulls for a large portions of the game outside of the giants and Vikings

Week 10 games start tomorrow; slow day at work so I'll make weekly selections now. The last 3 weeks I've gone 29-13 straight-up (I guess that's good, not great?). We'll see if I can beat the 85 points I put up a couple of weeks ago:

Bills over Dolphins -- 14 points

Lions over Commanders -- 13 points

Broncos over Raiders -- 12 points

Browns over Jets -- 11 points

Panthers over Saints -- 10 points

Colts over Falcons -- 9 points

Ravens over Vikings -- 8 points

Bears over Giants -- 7 points

Bucs over Patriots -- 6 points

Seahawks over Cards -- 5 points

Eagles over Packers -- 4 points

Rams over Niners -- 3 points

Texans over Jaguars -- 2 points

Chargers over Steelers -- 1 point

10-4 for the week, and again I did better in the games I put the fewest points on — 5-0 in the last 5 selections. Another 64 points is not great, but 39-17 straight-up over the past 4 weeks is pretty strong, in my own defense. Who would have picked both the Jets and Saints to win on the same weekend?

It'll be interesting to see what they give Kinlaw for hitting the ref. I would expect at least 4 games.

Carter and Ojomo both blew up the play.

No. Ojomo called it out but he ended up on his a$$ well away from the play.

Carter has driven the RG back two yards.

Ojomo (90) is being blocked to the ground away from the play. The LG is laying on top of him. Carter is reaching for the RB. Phillips has shed his blocker and is coming clean on the RB.2025-11-11 (5).png

You can see Ojomo on his back. Meanwhile Phillips has the RB. Blankenship is cleaning up and causes the fumble.2025-11-11 (7).png

NFL should suspend St. Brown.

Amon Ra St Brown should be suspended for the Eagles game.

Kinlaw should be suspended.

The ref that Kinlaw hit should be immediately fired and all refs should be told to keep their damn hands off of players.

You grab a player, you lose your job. You are a flunkie. They are elite athletes. Hands off!

Man Fran really tore into the Eagles for them giving up on 3rd downs with the draws. Saying they were 8 of 16 on 3rd down and those 8 plays were good well executed plays. Of the other 8 they didn't convert, 4 were give up plays. Talked about how frustrated he is watching it every week.

Again, people will blame Patullo, but if Sirianni wasn't ok with this approach, he'd have mandated a change by now.

They shouldn't have hired from within. They desperately need outside minds to say do this or don't do this. Granted there wasn't much choice from the selections but I think just having that different perspective would have worked wonders this season

LETS BE CLEAR ABOUT THIS

Patullo and Siri are one.

Patullo only has his job because he is Siri's buddy.

Any time someone says Patullo they mean Patullo enabled by Siri.

You don't win points by trying to give 25% or 50% of the blame to Siri.

A real OC would push back against Siri. I'm sure Moore did it all year long.

He probably should face a lifetime ban.

Honestly, I thought it was a great play by Cooper and a little bad luck that Hurts tried to go down but ended up with his knee on top of the defender. I won't kill Hurts for it.

Sixers in midseason form!!

Thats something. Embiid has rested back to backs, AND has been at 20-25 minutes a game when he plays. We are about 10 games in and he already has knee soreness.

I already said load management does not work. Theyve tried it many times before and keep acting like its a novel idea that just might work!

What a waste of a roster spot.

What a shame that VJ has become passive ever since Embiid began playing. And the entire offense has slowed down even on nights when Embiid is not playing.

Embiid is nothing but a cancer at this point.

I say shut him down for the season already. Try to make a medical retirement happen.

Agreed, I don't understand how anyone is even remotely interested in splitting hairs on this when the only reason why we're talking about Patullo in the first place is because Sirianni pulled a power move hot off the heels of winning a Lombardi and had some disposable cred to spend.

Refs can’t even get the call right for a guy punching a player right in front of them but the league is focused on the tush push

Anyone notice that the last field from Green bay was blocked?

I think McManus struck his practice kick after the whistle about as well as he could and it came up 4-5 yards short. When he was trotted back out there to kick it again being no closer at all, he resigned himself to just trying to hammer it as hard as he could — if it comes off it has a chance — if not, we see what we saw.

We will see this Sunday whether they can weather another test. Detroit’s Offense isn’t going to put up only 7 points.

They put up 13 against GB...and 17 against KC. So 7? No. But in the teens ? Perhaps.

This. And I'd bet my bank account that the same people bashing him for not sliding would've called him a moron for not knowing where the sticks are if he starts his slide just short of the marker and they somehow failed to convert on the next play.

Frankly probably doesn’t help that he probably compensating in his other knee which is now sore. He is what he is at this point. Injury prone and isn’t capable of staying consistently healthy

That’s a fraudulent 13 too. They got a garbage td with 55 seconds down 27-6

Ojomo splits the LG and the Center. The Center appears to be who knocks him down. The LG is also down on the ground because he likely whiffed on Ojomo. As I understand the inside zone, the back side blocking should be an initial double-team that allows either the G or C to move up to the second level. Sealing off the backside allows for a cut back lane.

image.png

Ojomo, by splitting the double team he took away from the outset any cut back lane. Carter blew up the play on the front side but it was still a good play by Ojomo because there was no where for Jacobs to go. If Ojomo was stood up on the play, the penetration on the front side may not have stopped the play.

I just got my email from YouTube about my $20 credit. Everyone check your emails. Just have to login, go to settings, then the update tab on the bottom and apply it.

2025 Detroit is one of the most overrated teams in NFL history.

They are like an 8-8 Cowboys team that puts up 45 in mismatches and 17 in tough games.

They are dangerous in the dome. They are just a 10th to 14th best team on the road.
