My prediction of Eagles getting the #1 seed and repeating as SB champs grows stronger by the week.

Another big injury. Brutal this year.

It was awful ... but it was 4th down. An awful throw on 4th down is better than taking a sack or simply throwing the ball away. In most cases, it's stupid to intercept a 4th down pass, so throw something up for grabs.

Rightfully so.

The Bye Week has been very good to the Eagles. We now have sole possession of the 1st seed, thanks to Packers and Lions losing to NFC foes. The top of the NFC standings look like this.

So it is on to our Monday Night game with the Packers. It will be the 50th game between the two teams with the Packers holding the Regular Season series edge 28-17. They have also met 4 times in the Postseason, with the Eagles holding a 3-1 edge in those contests.

As we do each week, we are gathering Game Score predictions. With the Commanders season all but over, does it make sense for Howie to consider bringing Zach Ertz back. He is on a 1 year contract with Ertz will earn a 17 game base salary of $2,090,000, so he would only cost the Eagles right around $1 million.

Same record as the Rams have currently. They meet head to head twice in their remaining nine games, and otherwise their remaining schedules are reasonably even.

That first giants game still pisses me off. We would be 7-1 with a 6-0 conference record putting us 2 games up on the rest of the conference, and an opportunity to grt the tie breaker over the Packers and lions.

Oh well, just beat those two after the bye and it puts us in a really really good spot.

Good chance the Commanders pack it in now. They are going to lose next week to the Lions to drop to 3-7 and Daniels is out for an extended period if not the season. In fact, it would be stupid for them to bring him back after four weeks when they are 4-9 or whatever. Tough luck for them but a lucky break for the Eagles as it makes the 2nd half of the year a good bit easier.

Wow Washington is on a 4 game losing streak. Jayden can't stay healthy in his sophmore year. The GMen have lost 3 straight. Dart is now 2-4 since being thrown into the fire weeks ago. The Boys haven't won back to back games all season. Don't be shocked if Arizona finally gets a win and pulls an upset. This is reminding me of 2004 (The Last time an NFC East Team went back to back). The Eagles were 13-3 and went to the Super Bowl while GMen, Boys and Washington finished the season all 6-10 and out of the playoffs.

Judging by score the second half was not as exciting; at least commanders were embarrassed

The Packers lost to Bryce Young coming off injury missing 2 games. Lions lost to JJ McCarthy coming off injury after missing 6 games.
