Supposedly daboll is the one who really wanted dart and it made schoen go up to draft him. Essentially without daboll being adamant about dart, the giants are playing Wilson or Jameis and their Qb position is bleak.

Agree. One thing they could do to counter that would be to get up to the fng line early. Too many times they are rushing to the line with no time adjust.

They absolutely have to get those play calls in quick so Hurts has a chance to survey the defense and make adjustments. Mailata brought this up in Week 2 or 3 and they still fail to get lined up with time on the play clock. Its maddening! Patullo just needs to call whatever stupid play he is going to call and give time to Hurts to change it

I really like the reports cards; I think they’re awesome, give us a cool insight into being an NFL player, and even hold some of the bad owners in the league accountable. But I’m on the league’s side on this one.

The NFL isn’t really a football league, it’s a reality television show; the players are entertainers. Its primary product it uses to entertain happens to be football. Like all entertainers (actors, musicians, comedians, etc) your most successful endeavor is often working for a larger entity that can better create scenarios for you to make money. There is a PR obligation with that governing entity as you represent them when you go out and entertain.

Now I get that if the league does something improper or just flat immoral, it shouldn’t be swept under the rug. But publicly declaring faults in this manner should be something that isn’t allowed for contracted players. Most of these survey issues can be negotiated behind closed doors… but to proclaim the fallibility of the entity you work for can only end up costing you money through a decline in league revenue. My point isn’t about any individual team, but the league as a whole. This is just universally negative publicity, even if we find an owner or 2 who corrects things because of the report cards

TL;DR: Players docking the Cardinal’s score because their plane seats aren’t cool enough, or giving the Chiefs an F because their lockerroom is only better than 93% of college teams instead of 100% does more long term damage than good to the shield, even if some of the things have been "fixed” as a result of the report card.

We will disagree. If you want to base it strictly on field position, sure, but in the context going 1, 2, 3, punt and sending the defense right back out while playing with a scared mindset it's still a turnover since you are turning it right back to them. It's a water break with better field position. Not worth the fearful mindset Nick has.

Yeah, and huge wear and tear on the defense. If they are going to just give it right back then there isn't a huge difference worth having that mindset. We can't "turn the ball over" but we can just keep punting after 3 plays.

A home game with a relatively healthy Eagles team...Campbell and the Lions like to roll up the score and pad stats on weaker teams and Goff struggles when the opposing team can apply pressure. The only concern which is a big one is the Lion running game. I hope the interior D is up to the task.
