The point is not the proper language to describe Parson's actions. Its that it was a perfectly executed run play that was only stopped by a leg whip which should have resulted in a 1st down around the Packers 40.

They did not get a 55 yard TD run that they earned with great execution. They did not even get the 15.

They did everything right and that is important going forward when lots went wrong.

It should have but it didn’t. It’s like pass interference. If the DB is beat it’s better to take the penalty than give up a TD. I don’t call that cheating. The failure on the play was by the zebras. The rest was just SOP.

Hurts: 2.14

Hurts scores 0.34 more TDs than Stafford and 0.41 more than Stafford since the start of 2024.

Turnovers per game:

Stafford 2024-present: 0.56

Hurts 2024-present: 0.54

It looks like maybe the Eagles can deal with the same rate of turnovers as the Rams and win Super Bowls because Hurts scores more TDs than Stafford.

When Hurts has a good game passing, the Eagles are essentially unbeatable. With their defense, OL, running game...if he actually clicks as a passer for 4 quarters, any game against any team is a meaningless laugher. In games where he either passes poorly or rarely, they still generally win all the time.

There is going naturally be a collection that wonders what things would look like with a QB who passes better more often. I understand the other things he brings to the table and it's not my intention of this post to bash him. These people live in delusional world they they hold Jalen Hurts to impossible standards of needing to be perfect every single play. Even plays where he throws a TD or makes a big play with his legs, they find reason to complain.

To talk about wanting to see another game or acting like there are a lot of games where he is playing bad at QB is complete nonsense. He is 7-2 having played the hardest schedule in the league. He has a career high completion % at 68.9, he is on pace for a career high in TD passes with the 5th highest TD% in the league, a career low in interceptions (only 0.4%, lowest in the league) and a career high QB rating of 112.0 which is 6th best in the league.

These are people that have hated Jalen Hurts since the start and despite all the incredible success he has already had in just now in his 5th season as a starter they are so bloodthirsty to find ways to try to hate on Jalen Hurts and make him out to be some sort of issue when he is actually a major part of their continued Championship success.

As is pretty obvious, I'm a big Michigan guy. In Jim Harbaugh's first season Michigan lost to Michigan State when the punter fumbled the snap and MSU ran it in for a touchdown with no time on the clock. I flashed back on that in the GB game. Maybe Sirianni did too and that's why he didn't punt.

That's because Harbaugh was too stupid to call for max protect on the punt, not thinking D'Antonio would send everyone and leave no one back to return it.

But your logic is flawed in thinking the chances of a mishap on a punt are any higher than on a run or pass play.
