EMB Blog: 2025 Regular Season (Part 2) ... and Playoffs

Don’t think so. He was fast…but had pretty bad football IQ.

In 2017... he was everything we wanted him to be. And his play on the final play against the Falcons saved that season. He was the guy that stayed home when all the cheese went the other way. He stayed home and took away the primary read (or at least, what I saw as the primary read), forcing Ryan to hold the ball and then force the throw to Julio Jones.

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Kendricks would’ve been awesome with Fangio

Am I remembering wrong and am crazy, or did he get wrapped up in some weird insider trading thing?

An interesting story would be Broncos making the SB and the Eagles get their revenge to repeat as champions.

Last time a SB was played in Levi(10 years ago) Broncos were in it. Also had a defensive team with an offense that did just enough.

Chiefs are in serious trouble. They could very well miss the playoffs.

I would feel better if they had one more loss at the moment. It's gonna be a fight for sure for them.

Pregame Warmup Eagles-Lions Score Predictions Update - less than an hour until Sunday Night Kickoff

54 predictions recorded. 36 are for an Eagles win and 18 are for a Lions win ... a 2 to 1 ratio. The average predicted score now favors the Eagles ... Eagles 26 Lions 24.

NOTE: The Bonus predictions this week have been a lot of fun. Some of them are very creative.

I believe I got everyone's prediction. If you don't see your name below, I either missed your prediction or you haven't submitted one yet.

As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  I will be taking predictions right up until Kickoff.

The list of the 54 predictions that are recorded thus far is presented below, sorted high to low by Eagles points predicted.

*Jameson Williams hurts is. Offense still can’t figure it out.

I remembered him as not so much being a low IQ player at all, but a player with very stiff hips and issues in backpedal/transition....but ferociously explosive downhill. Whether he was a stud or sucked was highly dependent on how he was utilized and what mismatches he got caught in.

No offense but that sounds boring as hell (minus the win)

Interesting for a new AFC team making it instead of the Chiefs, and for us to get back at them

Absolute fluke. Zay Flowers fumbled at the 1. Chiefs win 17-10.

You don't get to do something because something like it happened before.

Also those Chiefs teams were among the leagues best. This Chiefs team is not a top 12 team and that includes their not top 12 QB.

Gold jacket for being awesome 2018-2022, good for him.

2023-now he's just a guy.

to be frank the chiefs were underwhelming the 23/24 regular seasons and then turned it on in the playoffs. But this year they are not winning the close games and may not even make the playoffs.

Weird... Eagles are wearing green tonight.

Does anyone know if Jalen Hurts is getting his teammates going tonight?

Definitely in a world of trouble. They basically have to win out or go 6-1. Jags still have 2 games against the titans, jets and cardinals. If they win those games they go 10-7 at worse and own the tiebreaker with the chiefs. The chargers are 7-4 with games against Vegas, Dallas left. So if they win those that’s 9. Basically if they can get 1-2 more wins (currently own tiebreaker over KC) they get to 10 or 11. Have in the other games vs. eagles, at KC, vs. Houston and at Denver. Kind of think they win at least 1 of those games. Don’t see Buffalo or New England losing enough and KC loses tiebreaker to both. KC has vs. indy, at Dallas, vs Houston, vs. chargers, at Tenn, vs Denver and at LV. Really think it’s more likely they go 5-2 than 6-1 or 7-0

I'm sure I'll take heat for this. That said, I kinda want Dallas to beat the Chiefs on Thanksgiving. The cowboys aren't going anywhere. That would also make their draft pick worse.

Time for my annual Dallas deserves our apathy, not our hatred post. That hatred is only confirmation of their rent-free space in the minds of us Eagles fans. I say this half in jest, half in reality...but the fans who have been hurt by the Dallas Cowboys will be dying off soon. No one is even going to have a memory of it. They keep this up, they'll be the Phoenix Cardinals of the old NFC-E soon.

He did and got probation.

Lane needs a bigger helmet lmao

They did not turn it on in the playoffs. The refs cheated. We all saw it.

Wait, what? I come here and find out I only have a few months left.

I don’t think it’s impossible that Dallas wins that game. Kansas City might be coming off another loss against Indianapolis. And who knows where their mindset‘s gonna be at that point in a short week. And Dallas tends to play better at home on offense even though they looked awful against the Cardinals.

I hope someone told Siri and Patullo that playing for the FG in swirling winds is not conservative, its idiotic.

Nah I want them to get embarrassed; I hope chiefs win by 21
