Im not mad at the horizontal pass plays. Throwing it even just a few yards down field has been a disaster. Drops. Then innacurate throws. And then the tip nearly INT. At some point someone was going to try the flats. Unfortunately the screen game favors the Lions. Hopefully we will be ready when they try it too.

The Qb coach loeffler called plays in college. He has experience. Granted it was at college level so who knows if he’s good at it.

I think the move is to bring in an offensive consultant. Don’t make a bunch of fanfare externally about who is calling the plays. Only ups the pressure and sense of chaos.

Give them some time to evaluate what the problem is.
