*whispers* I was actually fine with Sirianni going for it on 4th down.

I wouldn’t have done it, but I don’t think it was quite as dumb as some have said. I’d sign up for a tush push to end the game. Problem is that was the first or second play with a new, cold center. That’s enough of a wrench into the play (combined with the fact that they got really poor push on it all night) that I’d have punted.

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Yeah, but I’m sober.

They were calling it a must win. This one has to hurt in that locker room. Wonder how they respond. They can unravel. Although theyve proven to be incredibly resilient with all those injuries last year.

They'll rebound and the Bears will crumble. They make the playoffs.

Game flow.

Fair enough.

I hate that penalty cause now all i'm getting is 40 messages about how the refs are on the eagles side. Absolutely awful and unnecessary call

Tell them to watch the two horrible calls that went against us, F em

AJ is wearing defensive back spandex every time Hurts throws him the ball. I want someone to screen shot some all-22 of the last time the guy was open.

He was wide open at least 3 times vs the Packers and Hurts didn't see him.

I will add, Hurts bad passing tonight. They tried forcing the pass game, forced to AJ to make him happy. Patullo, bad game play calling.

Barkley actually had his 3rd best yardage game this season.

Can't argue. I'll give Hurts a slight pass with the weather. It has to be hard to judge what to put on balls. KP sucked again. But they beat a good team with two starters out on offense.

I do. I said earlier this week the Lions feast on bad defenses and mediocre defenses. they get hyped up because they put all these crazy numbers up against those bad and mediocre defenses. then they face a good defense, they look lost most of the game and they just don’t look very good.

Yup… Goff really looks great when they are up 20+ points against overmatched teams. Campbell loves to roll it up against them…how did that work them this week after crushing Washington.

Yeah, I know the analytics would overwhelmingly call for a punt there. I’m stunned they stopped us. Good job by them.

1,000,000% Having Calcaterra lead block for Barkley is completely useless. I’d rather it be Smitty than Calcaterra.

Tank and Barkely to make them worry about runs to both sides

Tank has to be a better blocker too

@Connecticut Eagle I want to be respectful to Saquon but we need Tank to get a larger share in games like this.

Let Saquon win the Heisman vs DC and the Raiders.

Or at least stop so many runs up the middle.

There was a decent amount of good tonight, but its still too sloppy in scheme, playcalling, and personnel IMO

Losing Lane basically removes their jumbo options. And Cam wasn't 100% all game.

There were a ton of execution issues. They convert just one of the three failed tush pushes, the game ends with much less stress.

Total fail from Sirianni tonight. The presnap penalties in literally every big situation is on him. That decision to go for it on their own 30 is on him.

He's not putting the team in the best position to win

Players know what the rules are. They're sloppy because of the soft player approach, and that is the result of over-leaning into "emotional intelligence".

We know where that came from. Notice how Fangio's unit is different, because he doesn't give a rat's ass. Lol.

Last time I’ve seen an Eagles defense this good - going back to the Super Bowl to this point, this season - is the Buddy Ryan years and year after he left.

This defense is amazing - the addition of Phillips and the return of Dean has completed this defense - it is ELITE.

Under normal circumstances a 6 inch tush push is a no brainer.

But our OL is the walking wounded and it hadn’t really been working consistently.

Punting was an almost automatic win. Like 98% chance. Don’t be cute, don’t be aggressive, just do the non retarded thing that won’t blow up in your face and punt the ball.

They haven't looked good with it in a while. And, in that position of the field... put it on your defense. They would have only allowed 6 points today. There would have been zero angina at the end with a punt.

What? The opponent contributed to a failure on our part? Is that even possible?

And Jackson made a few plays out there. That was good to see

Some seriously tough decisions coming up between Nakobe, JD, Phillips, and Moro regarding contracts.

They play the unquestioned second worst defense in the nfl next week. If the offense does not look viable against Dallas, this is what we get for the rest of the year.

It is what it is. We aren’t getting better unless the OL magically gets healthy.

See, when Barkley goes off for 3.2 a carry and you praise him then go off on Hurts.

It just shows how unserious you are.

Every player but Tank had a tough game on offense and Patullo was too stupid to give Tank 10 carries.

A win is a win and this was against a good team.

But we were at full health and they were missing LaPorta and their CBs - was hopeful of not just seeing a repeat of last weeks game but alas, here we are agian.

8-2 is great. The D is legit.

Who the f knows about this offense though. I agree with AJ's general sentiment - they need to seriously look inwards and find ways to improve that unit's performance to maximise this team's potential.

Next week I want to see a healthy OL. I don’t care if that means 3 backups are starting.

Fred Johnson is pretty damn good.

I’m tired of mid game injury substitutions and watching the whole OL walk around the field like they are barefoot on a Lego treadmill.
