November 18Nov 18 Some offensive futility stats:Eagles have the 28th ranked passing offense in the NFL, by yards per game. Every team behind them either has a rookie QB (Titans) or has been shuffling QBs due to injury. There are 29 RBs with 100 or more rushes this year. Of those 29 players, only 3 have a lower yards per carry than Saquan Barkley.AJ Brown has 7.0 yards per target this year. Freddie Mitchell's career yards per target was 7.3.Grant Calcaterra plays nearly 40% of the Eagles offensive snaps. He has 4 rec for 40 yards and is usually a blocker.Only 3 QBs in the NFL have played as many games as Hurts and thrown for fewer yards (Rodgers, Bryce Young, Cam Ward). Eagles are 29th in the NFL on 3rd down conversion %.If anyone has access, I would like to see where they rank on 3rd and 8+ and 3rd and 10+...

I'm saying a eventual draft pick could be a upgrade. He hasn't reached seumalo's later years with the Eagles level yet. I agree he's not a liability. In the long run I have confidence the Eagles will fix the offensive line. The problem is they're in a Super Bowl run and that doesn't help this current season. As will all know. Dang Colts. Having Shane steichen would fix most of our issues on offense.

November 18Nov 18 Steen is really a prototypical OG in an AR offense. Converted OL, a little lanky for the position. Very reliable in pass pro. He may get more money than Becton, elsewhere, when his contract is up.He just was a questionable fit for what this offense tries to do from the minute he was drafted and I’m surprised they went in his direction in the offseason.

I don't care about the excuse how late it was to find an offensive coordinator. I think it was a lazy easy approach and it's definitely burning them.

It used to be a cast for months and then a very long PT just to get range of motion back, let alone strength. They now get you up and moving as soon as possible to preserve range of motion...that is 3/4 of the battle. Make sure to get your hands on one of those fancy ice machines...it will make a world of difference.1000% agree. Rent the circulating cold water pump when they offer it. Was well worth it when I had mine.
November 18Nov 18 One had a history of injuries even in college and the other one has back problems now correct? Or am I mixing them?

Than CB , OL are the biggest needs in free agency and draft. Followed by TE as a distant third. DT is one of those sneaky ones considering who will be free agents in the next few years.
November 18Nov 18 In the short-term, IR Cam and Lane. More 11 personnel. Use Willie Lampkin as the 6th OL / FB in 12 sets to keep Granson off the field. Do this and hope we can go 5-2 and get the #1 seed (this requires 2 Rams loses + 1 Seahawks loss, which is quite doable. Go BUCS this week). In the long-term, I'm ready to blow the offense up by firing Patullo and trading both AJ/Jalen. This is Vic Fangio's team and that unit is about to get super expensive.

It needs to be someone that was there for the offseason and camp install and has been in the meetings all year. Otherwise either the playcaller crashes and burns with an offense he doesn't even know or the players crash and burn in a new offense mid season. They can bring in offensive consultant(s) to get fresh perspective, but they are stuck with the current coaches for playcalling. If not Patullo, it's got to be Siri, Parks Frazier (passing game coordinator), or Scott Loffleur (qb coach).

Hiring a offensive coordinator with no history of play calling was way too risky for a team with Super Bowl aspirations. Most of us had that concern. Strange the Eagles were ok with it.

I understand this isn't how the cap works, but there are very, very few players on the entire offense I would rather have than just their 2nd tier defensive players that will be FA's next year.

Strange the Eagles were ok with it.I both agree and disagree. This is the disadvantage of a CEO HC. Most teams win a SB, lose their coordinators (at least on offense), and nobody even really talks about it because the HC is running everything away. From that standpoint, you want an OC with more experience. From another view point, SB winning teams who lose coordinators will usually promote from within. That's how you recruit the best at the ground level in the first place. And the best way to avoid a brain drain is to have your own pipeline. But again, if Kevin Patullo were the OC on a SB defending Rams or Chiefs team, no one would even know his name until it was time to interview for HC jobs. So that speaks to your point I guess. It's a more meaningful position here.

Just not going to do that. But they can easily demote Patullo just like they did with Desai, kept him on the staff but found a professional way to strip him of his duties.I’m just pissed that we went through this BS before, fixed it with Moore who was experienced and chose to go with inexperience knowing this is our window.
