But aren't you kind of proving his point? The stats and history say Sirianni is a special coach, as fans we've never seen anything close to this level of sustained winning in living memory, the 2024 NFC Championship and SB win was as perfect a pair of performances as you'll see but here we are 8 months later and you're suggesting Sirianni's a lucky bum who's been carried by the talent who win despite him and Hurts bumbling around.

It's absurd, like being presented with a trunk full of gold and precious stones and spending all your time complaining that the trunk is a bit plain.

I love winning but I also would like to see the offense actually show what it's capable of. You feel different

So why do you feel the need to moderate fandom?

Incorrect.

Well you're using stats without the context though

How many of those QB wins were the defense bailing out the offense and QB?

How many of those Siri wins are from the talent winning despite bonehead playcalling/design or even due to the defense winning the game?

Fans are passionate and want to see better results while some feel they should shut up. Maybe let those fans have whatever experience they have as a fan?

If a fan wants to see better results but another fan wants that fan to just enjoy the win.... why do they feel the need to moderate fandom?

Yeah talent and defense are a major factor in their success. However, we've also had 3 different DCs over that time (4 if you want to count Patricia). And with Hurts it's not just wins. His yards, it's not just the wins. It's yards, TDs, TD:INT ratio, completion percentage. All good over that period...again on paper.

Howie is incredible, potentially the best in the league. But is he so good at hiring DCs, drafting and free agency that he's propelling a bad HC and bad QB to literal historic levels of success? That would be wildly impressive if he is.

Who said either was bad? I must have missed that part because it wasn't me

Stars are aligned against us this week. We don't beat Dallas in Big D that often and only once ever with Dak at QB. Also, the D has just played two heroic games and will not be able to put up a 3rd in a row though they will still play fairly well. Not much to say about the O who will only be average at best. This one was marked as a loss on my schedule all along.

Boys 27 Birds 17

Bonus: Hurts is sacked 4 or more times and has over 33 pass attempts.

I have the same score prediction.

Greg Cosell was saying he knows for a fact that Sirianni and Patullo know how to design a more diverse passing game than the one they're currently using so he's completely baffled why the passing game is as vanilla as it is.

I think the answer to this question is the one we've all been wondering and can only speculate as to why.

My opinion is that, due to the lack of an effective run game and the defense playing well, their risk tolerance in the passing game has been dialed way back to the stone age.

I was told Jalen cannot make those throws.

His stats were not as impressive as DeVonta Smith's that game. This is why he had issue. AJ Brown only cares about AJ Brown. His main focus is being the central star and when he isn't he pouts.

To be fair he plastered the shirt numbers all over it, You could describe the pictures to a blind Eagles fan and they'd spot which was ours.

Aye, it wasn't the most helpful way to make a point, by putting the answer in neon lights. 🤣

Love the replies to this tweet. Fanbase finally waking up to the cancer AJ is.

I agree, but this is the football equivalent to walking everywhere because you're afraid you're gonna get in a vehicle accident. Gotta nut up and adapt. Can't coach terrified.

What's the plan on replacing him? Howie doesn't have a good track record of WRs. Probably better shot at the lottery than getting another Brown and Smith

It's hard to know but I do not think there's much evidence Sirianni can develop a more complex passing game. There's no evidence Patullo can.

If this offense was dinner for the Eagle's family. It's what dinner looks like when you let your Toddler choose chicken nuggets every night because that's what he likes, and nobody want to hear him cry. Someone doesn't want to eat their peas and carrots, because the dinner looks how he want's it to look.

Then there's Pattulo, calling chicken nuggets for breakfast, chicken nuggets for lunch, chicken nuggets for dinner, and chicken nuggets for desert. Because he's the cool Dad.

I think I'm going to pick up some chicken nuggets on the way home.

Reagor is a free agent

So, just some food for thought, here's where our opponents rank in PPG allowed so far this season.

Dallas -- 31st at 29.3 PPG, we scored 24 (below)

KC -- 4th at 18.1, we scored 20 (above)

LAR - 2nd at 17.2, we scored 33 (26 on offense) (well above)

TB -- 22nd at 25.0, we scored 31 (24 on offense) (inline)

DEN -- 3rd at 17.5, we scored 18 (inline)

NYG - 29th at 27.3, we scored 17 (way below)

MIN - 16th at 23.2, we scored 28 (21 on offense, inline)

NYG - 29th at 27.3, we scored 38 (way above)

GB - 7th at 19.6, we scored 10 (way below)

DET - 10th at 21.6, we scored 16 (below)

So 3 times we were above (KC, LAR, 2nd NYG), 3 times we were inline (TB, DEN and MIN) and 4 times we were below (DAL, 1st NYG, GB and DET). The last 2 games have been hard to watch on offense, but tough conditions and those are good defenses. Feels like we'll learn a lot this weekend against DAL (31st). Remain schedule -- CHI (26th at 26.4), LAC (11th at 21.6), LV (24th at 25.3), WSH (28th at 29.6), BUF (14th at 22.9) and WSH (28th at 29.6). It's about to get a lot easier.
