The time Hurts came close to that was actually against the Bills a couple years ago. 5 total touchdowns, 3 passing and 2 rushing.

Maybe not insignificant in this saga yet mostly ignored, was the part where Lurie told AJ he didnt have to apologize.

For weeks people have been saying Lurie cant be happy with what he sees either. Whether he is frustrated with the offensive scheme deployed by the coaches, or the QB who handcuffs them to playing this way, Lurie has to be frustrated too. Telling AJ not to be sorry pretty much confirms that. He probably agrees with AJ.

I think AJ would accept a trade if it comes down to it. But Im pretty sure thats his primary goal. I think he likes being in Philly and I suspect his primary goal is to see the offense change here. Whether thats through coaching, or a QB change, I suspect thats what he is trying to make happen.

In the past few weeks, theres begun to be grumblings about Hurts in the media, and then the report that players are unhappy with him. None of that would ever be happening without AJ doing what he is doing. I appreciate him for this. Its long overdue. I dont believe we see the change we want to see without AJ doing this.

In the offseason, something will happen.

Most likely seems to be an AJ trade.

Maybe just as likely or slightly less likely will be an OC change.

Least likely, Hurts trade.

Unfortunately, if you were ranking them in order of effectiveness, the order would be completely reversed. We can only hope AJ's message is truly being received by Howie and Lurie, and that they agree with him.

It can be a player you straight up trade for him. Probably nearly impossible to get equal value in a WR for WR swap.

It can be a young up and coming WR.

It can be a free agent signing you think would be an adequate starter.

It can be a draft pick.

Give me one or give me a list. Even a few from each category if you like.

Oh i agree on ankle vs. lisfranc. I still expect him to be put on IR tomorrow or on Saturday. But the only thing I can think of if he doesn’t get put on it this week or next week is the think because that Raiders game is a month from the time he injured it. Imo if the swelling is that bad, hard time believing he’d be ready to go by then. Frankly, you don’t really need them for the Raiders game. You are better than the Raiders and they’re coming east for that game. you should be able to win that game without lane Johnson. might as well just put him on IR and get the four weeks (still 99.9%) because he’s definitely not gonna be back for the Chargers game.

Credit to Davis mills, he’s looked decent since stroud got a concussion.

I was in Houston when Davis Mills was drafted. That dude was not the guy. He could not play at all.

He and the team have done a great job of making him a decent NFL backup / spot starter.

If he wins tonight he will be 3-0 and will have absolutely saved their season.

AJ knows the right thing to say but just won't do it. The Saquon comment is totally out of line. He made this mess, and doesn't need to bring other players into it.

To me, it tells me that he 100% knows what he's doing is wrong. Misery loves company but Saquon would never ever go there, nor would Smitty or literally anyone else on the team.

I heard Willie Colon say that if Art Rooney had to pull him aside and he still couldn't shut his mouth, he'd just pack his own bags. That's where AJ is headed if he continues to act like a child.

Not a single thing he's said has been helpful to the team in any way. It's only about him and it's 100% transparent.
