See the difference between what Graham did and Brown did was that Graham did it once, acted on it afterwards and actually improved things albeit temporarily. And to a certain extent, I do wonder how much of that might have been part of the thought process in bringing Graham back into the building.

Agreed 100%. Last year, they had the running game to fall back on and take the heat off everything. This year the OL is too banged up to do that as effectively (not that this year was ever likely to be as productive since last season was an all-timer).

The way the average human consumes media these days is anything longer than 4 sentences is TLDR.

Journalism is far from dead, it’s just not palpable for the average consumer. Even I find myself while I’m doom scrolling seeing a video over a couple minutes and skipping because ‘I don’t have time for that’ then scroll away endlessly more.

People want short, fast, to the point, care nothing about context and can’t discern opinion based from factual reporting.

So the opinion-free absolute truth is that all 4 of Hurts' best weapons made a choice to stay in Philly with Hurts at QB.

Every Eagle who is here outside of the draft or a trade with no extension made a choice to play with Hurts.

BG stepped into the middle of the AJ delusions against Hurts thing last year. I wonder what BG thought about Hurts as the confetti was flying.

What's interesting about the Lions is they've sustained a bunch of key injuries in the secondary and yet their backups are still performing well in man. You would think a flip to running more zone would be in the cards if 3 of your top 4 DBs are sidelined, but nope.

I don't make predictions......this game could go so many different ways. What I will say, even if they lose (and they are due), for some reason.....I still see them getting the #1 seed, at worst #2 seed in the playoffs. I think the Rams are their biggest competition in that regard.

And like has been stated by me and a FEW others on here....enjoy this time fellas....there will come a time when we don't have a franchise QB, 9 players in the top 100, etc.....and we will be looking back at this run from 2000 to whenever that is, going.....damn, that was f'ing incredible what our franchise was able to accomplish.

Super Bowl Victories - 2 (A. I never thought I'd live to see the day that they would win 1 let alone 2 B. Only Chiefs 3, and Patriots/Tom Brady 6, Bucs, Giants and Ravens all have 2 but none too recent)

Winning % - Eagles since 2000 are in 4th with a .606 winning % behind Patriots, Steelers and Packers.

Is it frustrating sometimes watching (yes that's why we are fans), could they have won more games and potentially more Super Bowls with better play/luck/and better refs, yep! But this is the NFL and luck and refs play a huge factor for all teams. That's what makes it the best league period.

So during this week of Thanksgiving, let's be thankful and grateful for what this team has done since 2000. Oh....and F the Cowboys!

Maybe, but it's still continuing. I'm not saying it's Hurts is to blame either, but we do have stories from D Gunn and now Hugh backing him up. Not one story anywhere about people getting frustrated with Brown, though. Not one peep. Now, I think it's more likely that it's KP and not Hurts that the team is pissed off at. We didn't hear this kind of crap last year and he is the only variable that changed. Brown needs to shut up, but if he was so off base we'd have heard murmurs from the media. I don't think they like the way he is doing it but I do think they agree.

I think they are related. His frustration is higher because he can be. The historic rushing season forced him to keep more of a lid on it... rather than being free to act the fool. This year, there's nothing offensively to keep him from spouting off.

I think we win. Our run game comes alive against a poor run defense and our D holds the Cowpukes to less than 20 points.

Houston on D is great no doubt, but 2 of their games were vs Tennessee (along with some other very weak offensive squads)

Detroit is very good at home with a loud dome where they can use their team speed.

They gave up 149 points on the road for 24.8 a game.

They gave up 67 in 4 home games for 16.8

They are 3-1 at home and 3-3 on the road.

Media is absolutely fueling it

One of my big frustrations with defending Hurts and the offense…if we had an elite offense and a, statistically, bottom 5 defense and we’re winning games 42-38….

There wouldn’t be some sentiment that the defense just knows how to win and leave them alone because they are doing enough to win. If teams were scoring on the eagles, this team would be under .500 right now. The offense isn’t playing defense. This is enough to win because of the defense.

Yes, but they are not at all effective on the road unless its cold and very windy. (unless your definition of effective is giving up lots of points)

They are most likely performing very well in man at home when the QB and the O-line can't hear.
