I’ll throw out something else to debate. Tomorrow we are playing against Jadeveon Clowney. He’s in his 12th year but never had a 10 sack season.

Factoring in where he was drafted, Is he a bust?

Bust for where he was taken by the team that took him but a certified legit NFL player that has lasted a long time. Not a Hall of Famer. There is a slip side scenario to that as well and that is Barnett. He is having a career still but I can't see him lasting as long as Clowney. He ultimately didn't pan out as a long time career with the Eagles but he did take part in the biggest play of franchise history when he recovered that fumble at the end of the Super Bowl. Just for that can't say he is a bust for the Eagles but also doesn't ultimately have a career that lives up to that draft placement. But still if a 1st round pick no matter where can play at least 9 seasons (Barnett) or 12 seasons (Clowney) they are not a bust. Might be a bust for their team but also might not be depending on what they might have done while they were there even if they didn't stick there.

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

So pretty much like every other debate with HE.

Yes. When I say something thats true and they try to debate it, its stupid. They really shouldn't try.

@RememberTheKoy

He's got it backwards. You don't need to prove anything.

He needs to prove his bizarre barely coherent ramblings that players don't want to play with Hurts.

He needs to come up with quotes from all these players on the team and in free agency who said "Not that Hurts guy, no way!"

The extensions are not a counterpoint to his argument. The completely 100% invalidate his imagination based argument.

I think the Big Dom biopic we get in 10-20 years is going to be excellent. There isn't anyone else like that in sports that is as well known as he is. The nature of his profession, his skills and that he was born in South Philly, I bet we find out he has maintained both mob and government since early in his life and this has allowed him to be as exceptional as he is at whatever his job is with the Eagles.

What we can't deny though at this point is that both Za'Darius Smith and Jaire Alexander retired because of Jalen Hurts. How many more will we lose to retirement this season due to the insufferable winning that Jalen Hurts forces upon us all?

Julio Jones was never the same after playing with Hurts. He lost his faith in the forward pass after a year in Philly.

BG hates Hurts so much that he's figured out a way to retire twice to get away from him.

Frank Gore committed to signing with the Eagles.

He went to a fortune teller that night and she foresaw that the Eagles would have a QB who gets drafted in the 2nd round and people will cry and rip out their hair and gnash their teeth.

There will be sackcloth and ashes.

There will be calls from scumbags to scumbags on WIP.

He will be top 20 or top 10 in so many statistical categories and win percentage and Super Bowl stats and win so much that all will despair!

Gore ran the other way the next day.

Nah, he's played for 12 years. IMO a bust is someone who completely fails and never does a single thing. Why I don’t consider mamula a bust either. A bust isn’t simply just a disappointment, it's an absolute failure of a pick.

I was in Houston so I can tell you how he was viewed by the majority of team, fans, media.

Houston radio 610 is owned by the Texans but mostly independent on opinion so its an interesting relationship with close ties to the team.

Everyone hoped he was a 20 sack guy. He got injured almost right away.

He was much more of a pressure guy without big sack numbers.

He did a lot to make that line very good (obviously JJ Watt was the star)

He played the run well and was very disruptive, he just did not finish a lot.

They won divisions with him and they won some playoff games with him.

They fought over a 2nd contract, he got tagged, and they eventually made a terrible trade to get rid of him.

Would you believe that I coached him in high school?

How about the fire-fighting OG, Michael Haddix, Emanuel Forbes, Kenyon Green, Art Schlister, Perry Tuttle to name a few.

Week 12 is here and it's getting chilly outside. Nothing like some Holiday Season Football. Our beloved Eagles play 2 games in 5 days with Bears on Black Friday coming up. Which means the Eagles have a chance to Clinch the Division this month which would be the fast since Andy and Donovan's Eagles in 2004. First up our heated rivals The Boys as the Birds bring the Undefeated Kelly Greens on the road. After beating them opening day, the Eagles have a chance to sweep Dallas in back to back seasons. The Cowboys lead the All Time Series 74-59 but the Eagles have won the last 4 out of 5 games including 3 straight. Yes this Dallas week was a little muted due to the state of the Division right now. There were more stories about the Eagles and their so called "Drama" than the game. Look I do not care about hit pieces and media reports. I only care about results. The Eagles are 24-3 over the last 27 games. I think that shows this is a team that knows how to win every which way. They've won with Defense, With Running Game, With Passing Game and with Special Teams. Now it's time for the final stretch of this Title Defense.

The NFC BEAST this year is more like a Kitty Cat with The GMen and Washington falling apart. The Boys season hasn't been much better. They are under .500, haven't won a back to back game this season, their only wins are against the leagues worst teams and they have a losing record against teams with a winning record. Meanwhile the Birds are 8-2 while beating some of the top contenders in the league with no back to back homes games and a brutal schedule. Yet they are leading the conference with a massive lead in the Division. So in all reality this game doesn't have the same stakes as previous Eagles/Cowboys matchups. It's still a rivalry and Cowboys will be essentially playing for their season. They lose this game and they fall even further behind the Wild Card Race so they will be playing for Cabo San Lucas the rest of the season. The Eagles have a nice cushion but it's still a Division and Conference game. Yes it's hard to beat a team twice in the same season but I believe they can do this.

Obviously Dak is a very good quarterback who had a great record at home against the Division.. But the Cowboys problems are on Defense. Yes they've made improvements but that's still their weakness. It seems this could be another get right game for the Eagles on Offense. I expect Dak to push this Defense but Jalen Carter, Nakobe and Jealan did not play last time. So they will be seeing a different Defense that will force him into mistakes. The Boys will give their all but the Eagles are just the better team. I think the Offense will play better today as the last two weeks we faced much better defenses. Also when Jalen is questioned he always proves his Haters and doubters wrong time and time again. The Eagles are averaging over 34 PPG in Kelly Green. I don't see that changing today. I was wrong about the Offense the last two weeks because I underestimated both the Packers and Lions Defense along with weather conditions. Now they will be in a Dome against must worst Defense. Cowboys can score but this Defense will keep them in check. Sorry Boys but the Eagles have bigger goals this season like the #1 Seed. Birds take down Dallas in Jerry World for the Sweep moving to 9-2,

THE BIRDS - 34

THE BOYS - 23

JALEN - RUSH TD

SAQUON - RUSH TD

AJ - TD

GOEDERT - TD

JAKE - FG x2

DEFENSE; INT, MUTIPLE SACKS, FUMBLE

You often hear free agents comment that they were drawn to a team to play with a QB when there is an elite one.

That doesn't happen for Hurts. We do know that.

What free agent(s) were the Eagles targeting that didn't sign with the Eagles and said, I appreciate the Eagles offer but I didn't want to play for a team that had Jalen Hurts as their QB. Please provide a list of the players and their quotes. Thank you.....

So while Hurts has been the Eagles QB, these offensive players have agreed to extensions:

Mailata

Jurgens

Dickerson

Johnson

Brown

Smith

These players all had the chance to try and get out of here because the QB is so horrible. They easily could have waited, gone to Free Agency and ran from here because of the god awful QB they have to play every snap with. But instead, they chose to extend.....and continue to play with that dreck of a QB?

And Barkley signed here....as a free agent and said the Jalen was part of his decision to come to Philadelphia.

You are not Howie Roseman, so you have no clue if any players the Eagles were targeting refused to come here because of Hurts. You do not play for the Eagles and are not in that locker room. My best guess is that you are a relative of Eskin and that....would explain a lot. LMAO

That's actually a strawman so you are incorrect. There is no burden of proof on me to prove something I never said happened. You guys are dumb and there's not anything I can do about it anyway.

Its a new day, and you guys are still going on circles with nothing but the same desperate strawmen. I'm moving on. With the W!!

You are a gossip monger whose estrogen might be spiking......you make statements, I asked you to provide facts to back up those statements and you say "I've had enough, I don't want to talk about it any more!" I've never used the "ignore" feature on here in over 20 years of posting on the MB....thanks for being my first.

IMO, this is the 2nd hardest game in our remaining regular season schedule ( at Buffalo clear #1). Win today and we're 9-2. At worst we're finishing 13-4 and just need 2 Rams losses for the #1 seed.

If the offense doesn't put up 24+ today, it's time to panic.

You did not ask me to provide evidence of statements that I made. If you had, it would be different. I like how you guys have to really dumb yourselves down and try to believe the ridiculous stories you make up. The sooner all of you Hurts idiots have me on ignore, the better. Trust me, your impetulance has finally served me well.

And you are the type of person that got no attention from Mommy and Daddy, need to come on here, state 1,000's of non-factual statements......and then, on the off chance 1 of them turns out to be correct......you say "LOOK AT ME......I WAS RIGHT!!" forgetting to say I was only right 1 time out of 1,000's. You are like a broken clock on steroids.

And seeing as you want to be precise....provide evidence of the statements you made.
