Most NFL GMs are not simpletons. They don't see all picks in a round as having the same value when one team has a good shot to go to a Super Bowl and another will pick in the middle of the round.

Largely agree, but the round does matter for public perception. No one talks about Tyler Steen and Sydney Brown the way they would if they went 2-3 picks before.

Donovan Ez (however you spell it) is probably the Cowboys best D player. He was someone I really liked in the draft and would have done well here. He's got some juice and moves

Ezeiruaku has looked better than a lot of the Edge guys who were drafted so far. Btw the class on the whole has been underwhelming so far when it was pegged as a generational class. Want to see how these guys look in 3-5 years.
