EMB Blog: 2025 Regular Season (Part 2) ... and Playoffs

Hopefully Blankenship will be back soon, maybe Friday. He didn't return but he was on the bench with a thigh injury making a tackle. Hopefully just a contusion.

Jackson I think will be out for awhile. Second time in concussion protocol in less than a month is rough. Shame because he was actually playing decent in between concussions.

  • Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

AJ is a PITA too. Who cares? I dunno what happened there. Bottom line, the backups are ass in secondary. And it was obvious.

Add on he’s 65th ranked safety out 93 by pff and has a worse grade than Justin Simmons had in 2024 at 58.2. Add on the bears given up 26.8ppg since inserting him into the lineup against the vaunted Joe Flacco, jj McCarthy, Jameis Winston and mason rudolph.

Agree with all and the only one theyll do is the last out of necessity...☹️

Sirianni says no changes on the offensive side of the ball which was expected. As I said yesterday, Lurie or Howie are gonna have to step in to save the season. Sirianni is perfectly willing to ride this offensive setup off the edge of the cliff.

Brown was open in the end but that’s when Hurts decided to bail

Coaches have drummed keeping the Turnovers down so much into his head that hurts never takes those kinds of shots over the middle which just makes the O more predictable and easier to cover.

They were never going to change it this week on a short week. Frankly if they did i would expect it to come out down the road from someone like jay glazer a few weeks later

If he’s able to return for the chargers game then I’m fine with him and Blakenship. Tbh he’s probably better against the run than mukuba is at this stage of his career and as an experience vet I’m guessing probably won’t get as many rookie mistakes

They actually called his injury "undisclosed" when putting him on IR, so hoping it was a phantom injury and he can play in LA.

Fractured ankle for Mukuba. Needs surgery.

Yeah, I don't see him coming back this year.

Hoping it was a way to keep him on the roster but also clear a roster space. Unfortunate Mukuba injury happened now as he can’t come back til week 14

Frankly i hope they play Bennett. Rather see him and what he can do than ringo

Just hope it's not something related to his ACL tear from last year. It's weird the NFL just let them put him on IR and never disclose the injury.

Even if they were going to make a change, Nick would deny it at his PC. We'd find out before the game that someone else is calling plays.

But I see no chance of them doing it. Nick 100% lost the locker room (at least the defense) when they went from Desai to Patricia. They won't do it again.

I don't know if it was mentioned but the punt late in the game that Dallas opted to redo and the announcers thought it was because it hit the scoreboard was because Ringo intentionally ran out of bounds

I swear he and the punt coverage team has 3-4 penalties every week.

You guys are all so, so dumb.

James Franklin for offensive consultant.

Tbh i don’t think they would. but i also think that defense was doomed to fail cause of the lack of talent. Whether it was Patricia or Desai. I do think defense checked out but i also kind of think that happened cause they realized after SF and Dallas took it to them they weren’t winning anything which frankly may have very well also happened with Desai as DC. Obvious guys checked out with Patricia I’m curious if it was fangio replacing Desai midseason instead if Patrica that happens or they still fail due to talent

Imagine being a fan of the sport for decades, seeing a variation of this multiple times per game this season, and still thinking Tanner McKee would somehow excel in these circumstances. What fun it must be to have such a wild imagination.

Just sitting here thinking about that time @HazletonEagle was trying his best to sound smart and used a really big word....that wasn't real roll
