1 hour ago1 hr Probably a realistic change is Siri loosening up on the conservative approach. Work on the game plan to incorporate some different things. Insist on more of the plays that worked well this year. Run Tank Bigsby more. Get Barkley on outside runs and screens. Use Latu as TE2. Some simple adjustments to see how they improve.

But they've shown no ability to address that problem.

Would they bring in a consultant like McCarthy or Pederson so late in the season?Id go with Loeffler, im not sure how much it would help at this point but it cant be worse right? Right?

1 hour ago1 hr If this season ends because the offense lays an egg, I can't even imagine how upset Lurie is going to be. I don't think he'd fire Sirianni, and I stress "think" because while I think the chances would be slim, I don't think they're zero. But I do think there would be some major ultimatums in the offseason. Like Sirianni can no longer have say in the offense anymore and they're bringing in a premium OC who has full control of the game plans, the scheme, etc, and Sirianni is basically just a gameday manager. I think this time around it would be a lot different than after 2023 because this team is far more talented and they are coming off a Super Bowl where they dominated, and this season they haven't even been able to go to their staples like the running game which has worked in years past.

I don't think it would be that different except asking Sirriani to take an even further step back. It's not like the choices are ever that clear cut. If you could pick anybody available who would it be?

1 hour ago1 hr This season and next season should have been Superbowl or bust seasons. Howie's moves don't corelate to that notion for me. I believe depth issues will cost us. The only way out is to rest the top guys (who are banged up or play way too many snaps) the last 2 weeks and get healthy. And then revamp the offense those last couple of weeks to give opponents a totally different look. Need to have Buffalo game be an exhibition game with the division wrapped up by then. This is all about being ready for the playoffs right now with a healthy roster and not being dependent on any backups. The final seeding is secondary. Must come to grips that we will be playing 4 games to win this thing at this point, so they need to realize that this is a marathon and not a sprint and adjust accordingly.

I'm hoping the Colts collapse so Steichen is fired, but even then I don't think he would be. And if he is, he probably gets another stab at head coaching elsewhere too.
1 hour ago1 hr It'll be interesting to see what happens after the season. There's not much reason to believe anything will change offensively, so if we lose in the first round, what happens at OC? I think there's almost no chance they run it back.
