Rudolph and the Steelers were moving the ball pretty well on the Bears. Kenny G had some big plays so I'd love to give Saquon another crack at a few passes in the flats.

The quick screens were also working, the Bears seemed slow to the ball sideline to sideline. AJ has to absolutely eat this game with YAC

It almost doesn't even matter anymore whose "fault" all of this is. What matters is the fact that despite whoever or whatever is to blame, not Sirianni or Patullo or anyone else is showing they're capable of fixing it. It was the same crap with Brian Johnson.

Sydney Brown misses tackles, is late to assignment, bad in coverage, hot head on special teams, lacks self control, was the blocker for the Gipson Fumble (over aggressive blocking turns into a whiff) and finally he broke Makuba’s ankle. Idk how he earned a roster spot after everything we’ve seen him put together.

Gipson has 30 odd touches and a dozen fumbles. Why is he even on the roster?

Matt Pryor as the team’s backups OT (before getting Fred back) was an abysmal choice and really had zero reason to ever be in that position.

Trading for a 4th RB, and not using him as he averages 9 yards per carry, not using the power back in AJ Dillion who’s averaged 5 yards a carry, and not using Shipley as a passing threat/punt returner just doesn’t make sense.

Having two #1 WRs and a #2 WR to have them run the same three routes 75% of the game just doesn’t make sense.

Things like this is why coaching is an issue, through and through. The playcalling, the penalties, the lack of preparedness and focus. The inability to get offense in any rhythm (every other year when we hire a trash OC with no experience) and the complete waste of talent needs to be looked by Laurie and Howie as another crumble, first round loss should be a fire able offense with the roster we have - and the schedule we’ve faced.

Can't make any pre-snap reads/adjustments when they are breaking the huddle to get to the line with under 10 seconds every play. A properly coached team will get to the line with 15-20 seconds left on the clock and can even "hard count" to access where the pressure is coming from.

Patricia is also a notorious dewshbag that was almost universally despised by his former players. So losing the locker room at the end of '23 could easily be a result of that just as much as anything else. Not to say everyone would automatically love Loeffler, he could be just as much of a tool for all I know.

Yes , and I wouldnt equate say loeffler with Patricia, personality wise

Hurts seems to have a good relationship with loeffler, where as Patricia came off as a 40 year old frat boy putting guys through pledges, he was a Grade A D and every one knew it.

Yep, and that's ultimately an indictment on the OC (or HC if he's the play caller) and the offensive system.

That's true. Just using an example of sometimes things can get worse.

I forget who but there was some Eagles player in the last 2-3 years that said as players they operate better the more steady the coaches are and if they start to panic, the players get tight and panic. That's not to say a change won't help, just there are things you have to weigh when making changes while sitting at 8-3, leading the division and a game behind the #1 seed.

So you have 2 guys in Eddie Jackson and Justin Simmons who said they would love to be reunited with Fangio and the Eagles sit here idle with Sydney effin Brown and Michael Carter ready to man the ship. And Marcus Epps waiting in the wings. How exciting! Gotta at least make an attempt here to fortify that position. These 2 will be a horror show back there clipping their own teammates in friendly fire while tackling terribly. Need savvy vets who at least have some IQ back there and played the position in the NFL. And quite successfully, playing their best football for Fangio. Yeah, maybe have lost some athleticism, but they know the game and this defense. Disappointing at no reaction there yet. Yeah. We are fine.

There's a simple solution for Offensive Coordinator already in house.

He's mastered the salary cap. Then he learned to nail the draft. Next he will perfect running the offense!
