Can call it excuses but take away lane and our offense has looked like crap. And we still have 2 pro bowl WRs and mailata

Just sayin, some QBs get all the blame when they don’t play well but he never ever does.

Ever.

Would I be excited if Josh Allen was our QB?

Yes

Jalen has an injured Oline, no running game, a top target that’s only happy when he’s getting stats and doesn’t care if his team loses, a high school offensive coordinator, and a head coach that doesn’t seem to want to adjust to anything ever.

He’s been mid recently but he deserves some excuses.

You don't think you're biased? I'm sure other fans are listing off their problems like that too

His own knee caused his fumble

Very possible but I’m really not THAT attached to Hurts if the team wants to try something else.

Like, for contrast, if they got rid of Devonta I’d pull the fire alarm at the Linc.

With the Rams loss the #1 seed is back on the menu boys! All we gotta do is win out…

The eagles will also need help. They also need the rams to lose another game. And then also hope the winner of the NFCN is not the bears (or finish 1 win better than bears) this may happen since they have 3 division games left and have the packers 2x.

I look at it this way, the Buffalo Bills do not have the weapons that the eagles have. I’d be much more on Josh Allen’s ass when he doesn’t play well if he had AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, Saquon Barkley and Dallas goedert as his weapons. And I still get on him when he doesn’t play well. He was part of the reason the bills almost blew the game to the ravens in the playoffs last year. And I said it then. Along with their defense that consistently doesn’t show up in big games.

That said he is currently without Dalton Kincaid his starting tight end, his best wide receiver is either Brandin Cooks (just got there and frankly washed), Keon Coleman (bust like JJAW) or Gabriel Davis. that might be bottom 10 wide receivers as a unit in the league. The one thing he has is James cook. when healthy good OL which tha OL is down their starting OTs today.

Frankly we really shouldn’t be saying anything about anyone else’s offense or Qb. Eagles just played a game with 10 of their 11 starters vs. the bears against a defense that was down their entire linebacking corps and frankly not very good in general. There’s been offenses led by QBs such as Mason Rudolph, Tyler Huntley, Jameis Winston, Joe Flacco, geno smith who managed to do more than we did against the bears and be more competitive on offense.

All of that will happen. The only thing in question is us winning out.

I would be shocked if the eagles win more than 2 games.. Unless Mckee...

Wow Allen got lit up on that slide. OL came to help him. Would’ve liked our guys to do that when Jalen got cheapshotted

Was just thinking that. They went to war and it wasn't even as dirty as the Hurts one

Josh Allen is great but he gets more excuses than any QB in the league. Except maybe Herbert.

I don’t hear any excuses in here. They like to compare him to hurts and it’s laughable. If they swapped teams the bills would win 3 games maybe and the birds would never lose

I wonder if they'll do something about that sliding rule. Too many QBs are getting injured just from the force of their heads smacking the ground and they're not even getting hit in the head by the defender

I would be giving Josh Allen a ton of crap if he was here with everything we have and the offense was looking as bad as it has been over the last four weeks. And frankly most of this season. Id be ripping our coaching staff just the same for wasting an MVP type QB and being inept.

I’ve said this weeks ago, so this isn’t new. When I watched the Buffalo Bills, they remind me of the Philadelphia Eagles with McNabb and Reid before he got TO. You have a really good running back (Westbrook/staley/buckhalter). You have a good tight end in Dalton Kincaid (Chad Lewis/Lj smith… less smith) when he’s healthy. You have a good offensive line when they’re healthy. But those wide receivers are below average as a unit. they are definitely a bottom 10 unit. Their GM last two years has done a poor job fixing it (Amari cooper was dealt Midseason in 2024 while hurt and was never healthy. Was a bad solution).

I've heard some people say the Eagles should stop doing the tush push. No, they shouldn't. Which means they probably will because the head coach is a moron. It's still the highest percentage play to run in those situations and the Eagles have a crazy number of RB carries where the RB is hit behind the LOS. So running it would be foolish.

If anything the ceiling would be higher. With this supporting cast it'd be superbowl or bust

That might seem disrespectful to Hurts but it's not

They should have done more fakes. They should probably still even though I'm not sure if it'd work

Think we also need GB to lose in the scenario. If GB wins out they finish 13-3-1 best we could is 13-4

GB will definitely lose at least one more game. It’s all about if the Eagles can win out…

If Hurts was on the Bills they'd be lucky to go 3-14

hopefully detroit wins on thursday

They should, just make the QB a runner and they’ll protect themselves better.

Eagles were #2 seed last year then won the SB. We complained about the offense most of last season then they played great in the playoffs. Anything can happen.

It's up to the Eagles to make the necessary changes to achieve it.

I don’t view it so much as disrespectful to Jalen hurts. I think Jalen hurts is good. Imo can be a consistent top 10 QB.

Imo the difference between the Eagles with hurts and the bills with Allen comes down to howie Roseman has given Jalen hurts the tools and weapons necessary to maximize his talent and this team. Albeit the coaching is questionable. I look at the Buffalo Bills and I can’t say that. Their wide receivers the last two years have been poor. McDermott and coaching is also question. Particularly mcdermott’s defense. He has been there a while and his defense when they get to the playoffs tends to no show in big spots. For instance, AFC championship game last year. the Kansas City Chiefs did not score over 30 points all year. The one game they did? AFC title game. Same issue where bills up 3 with 13 seconds and he can’t get his defense to close it out.

Their schedule sets up potential back to back losses going to Chicago then to Denver. I suspect they lose at least one of them. Chicago i think splits with GB. After that they very likely beat browns. At sf isn’t easy. I probably give it to sf at home but i think sf is also frauds. lions by the point might be eliminated and honestly they are banged up. Imo i think lions lose to Dallas this week and its basically a de facto elimination for them.

Last year they did it earlier in the season after that terrible loss to the buccaneers and then they went on a run after their bye (I think). They didn't lose until the second game against the commanders. The FO is going to have to be the ones to force it I guess since sirianni hasn't yet.
