I get at that point you knew he needed surgery so there’s probably not much more damage he could do. Whereas he’s finally had the surgery. But I could see them putting a special glove on to protect it. It’s a pretty big game for them as they are up just 1 in the wild card. And their schedule the rest of the way is brutal. Vs. eagles, at KC, at Dallas, vs. Houston and at Denver

The fact that Hurts has made great throws and had great games isnt proof that the OC is the problem and he isn't.I'll say this and I don't think it is arguable: this is the worst our offense has performed since Hurts became our QB. Patullo and Sirianni have to shoulder blame. Our offense is easy to decipher, easy defend, and simply has been unable to adjust to what defenses are presenting. Other OCs have been able to get the best out of Hurts. Maybe Patullo and Sirianni on their own just don't have the intellectual goods to do what others have. Very possible Patullo was a good QB coach but as OC it is beyond his capabilities. No harm in that, unless he gets to remain the OC.The two best seasons under Sirianni the Eagles OC was hired as a HC because they got the best out of Hurts, especially in the most important games. Patullo os making Hurts look unplayable. But he is also making the entire offense look like idiots.
December 1Dec 1 McLane said one player source told him the Eagles run way too much shotgun. And another player source told him the entire offense had a thousand yard stare on the sidelines in that game and they knew the offense had no chance in that game.

After the bye it has disappeared. I guess Hurts didnt like those plays.

Funny enough if we didn't have Smith and Brown then I think he'd get fired again too but he lucked out with getting Smith and Brown to work withIt’s not a real issue. It’s so overblown at this point and just a media talking point. He had Steichen for two years. He had Johnson for 3 years plus whatever off field relationship they had. Moore was new. He had Patullo for 4 years. It’s not someone brand new coming in every year that has no idea who Hurts is and what Hurts does. This is all besides the fact the offense is the Nick Sirianni offense. Steichen was able to get the most out of it, but everyone else is basically calling plays off the same menu.

He's only becoming more fragile no matter how well he can still throw bombsRodgers preseason said this was his last go-round. Then he started playing pretty well and there has been some speculation that perhaps this isn't his last year. Nothing I've heard or seen from Rodgers since preseason.

That is so beyond unacceptable I can't even fathom how lurie has allowed this clown show to go this far.Other teams who have scored 21+ in 5 or fewer games this season:Jets (also 5)Texans (also 5)Raiders (3)Browns (2)Titans (2)Saints (2)We are on par with the bottom dwellers of the league, you'll notice there are some basement teams who have MORE games of 21+ scoring (giants have 6). Fing embarassingI’m honestly surprised it’s been 5 times

So we can stop scapegoating OCs and blaming Siri for "Siri's offense".I would rather fire Siri and keep hurts. At least we’ve seen coordinators get results with hurts. Once those coordinators are gone, Siri has no idea what he’s doing.

Allow hurts to work with him in his first year but at the same time likely finding a way to maneuver off of hurts and get his next QB in case it didn’t work.

Once those coordinators are gone, Siri has no idea what he’s doing.I think the Lurie/Howie style of doing things would be to keep Siri to avoid the drama of a coaching change, not allow him to run an offense, and hire their guy to run the offense as OC. If that guy has success and gets HC offers, then you have to promote him to HC here. I predicted that would go down with Moore and Siri after the 2023 debacle, but I was one OC cycle early. Then if there is no success, then they have to move off Hurts. And Siri probably isn't the guy you want for the new QB anyway, unless the offense sucks next year, they bench Hurts midseason, and Mckee runs with it.
