Luck was not a statue, dude ran a 4.59 40. He was a pocket passer who could run and he had one of his best seasons with his one and only season with Nick coming off an injury that took him out the whole 2017 season. Maybe Nick had nothing to do with it just saying he had a great year in 2018.

In fairness luck had a great year in 2014 and 2016 before sirianni and reich got there. Tbh if you couldn’t have success on offense with Andrew luck then you really deserved to be fired.

Honestly feel for Reich cause he took that colts job with the assumption that luck would be there over his tenure. Luck played a year then retired. Changed reich’s entire coaching career.

Yep just needed a little air under it. Seems like there have been more batted passes at the LOS this year than previous years.

The film study is showing those opportunities. That's what Jordan Davis kept saying.

Nooooo! Howie not drafting him led to him drafting successfully. Signing him would be like messing with the mojo, fracturing the space time continuum or something. 🤣

I get it but you can’t expect a team to go undefeated. The best teams they’ve played they beat for the most part. It’s definitely not pretty but I think they can get it going.

And I get that and completely respect that. They can get it together and they have the talent. But do I think they are going to? Personally no I don’t. They look like a tired beaten up team and I just think this is going to spiral like 2023.

You must have a very, very different point of view of what a statue at the QB position is than the rest of us.

Well that is a BS...there is lot of teams with if not great then at least good running game with statue in the pocket...it's not fair towards Hurts...He has his flaws but noone can use this against him...

I agree with you, just pointing out it was his second best season out of all the years and it came off a lost season in 2017. Had his highest completion percentage by far that year too.

Luck got the sheet kicked out of him his entire career there because they never gave him a good online ( some of it was Luck trying to extend plays holding the ball to long) . Luck was tired of being hurt and getting pummeled week in week out. So by the time Reich got there he had enough, I think he started 2019 injured before he just up and retired. It's a shame too because Luck was awesome.

So Herbert to have surgery on hand, currently Doubtful for Eagles game. This just happen to Rodgers and he had to miss a game and didn't look to hot coming back today. If it's his non-throwing hand, it's still hard to play because you have to hold the ball with that hand. Anyways a Herbert-Less Chargers possibly means I don't want any excuses next week. Let's get this train back on the tracks. #1 Seed is still there for the taking.

Even with Herbert they shouldn't have issues because Herbert hasn't been very good and was benched last week for Trey Lance

Chargers still have a good defense but Trey would be coming in cold. It hasn't been confirmed that Herbert is out. But I just feel they will hold him regardless after a surgery for precaution. Again Steelers did it with Rodgers. They have the Chiefs next week which will be a bigger game for them in the Division. This is out of conference. With that said, The Eagles have their own issues to fix and get back to the Football we know they can play. We need to just get a win and build from there. This season has show everyone is getting beat.

Who cares about Herbert, if Hampton is back Hampton/vidal are rushing 50 times

And they could beat us 3-0 because this offense gives us little chance in games.

Siri is an Italian chef preparing sushi rolls because Jalen Hurts is tuna. That part is inarguable. There is too much evidence to state otherwise.

The real question is if Jalen Hurts is bluefin tuna belly or canned tunafish. And if Siri, given his more traditional ingredients, belongs at Olive Garden or Vetri. (I think Vetri is overrated, but you all get the point).

Does this mean you don't think Olive Garden is overrated?

Hear ye, hear ye y'all. @eagle45 likes Olive Garden better than Vetri Cucina. Let's all point and laugh. lol

I'm just messin'... everybody thinks that... deep down. whistle

The O has been inept all year.

That is true, but its really come more to a head these last 4 weeks, IMO. The passing game has really been inept for the better part of 2 years? Turns out we were fooled into believing that the passing game wasn't putting up numbers due to a choice to be a run heavy team. Turns out the historic running game just masked the reality... that the emperor had no clothes.

Harris blows, but he’s not selling the team until that stadium is finished. Once that arena is built, I think there’s a better chance because the value of the Sixers is gonna go up having that new arena. That’s when it becomes more realistic that he could sell the team.

Yup. Because he's not a fan of the team, he's a businessman. So, he's going to squeeze it for all its worth and then sell when he thinks he can get the best price. The new arena will be the golden ticket to get him out of town. He may not be the worst owner in franchise history... but he's very very close, IMO. As bad as Harold Katz was, and he was bad... he didn't turn the franchise into a laughingstock and punchline. That was Harris and "the Process".

I don't give two ishs what is said this week, who is playing, none of that. If the first drive is a 3 and out, and the offense has more than two presnap penalties in the first quarter, it's over. Seasons done.

Agree about Vetri. Hey, it's great if you like tiny overpriced servings. I would add that the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant was in his Osteria on Broad Street. While I'm grumbling about restaurants, let me throw a rock at Kalaya. The food is fantastic but the place is so loud that it's impossible to enjoy it. I much prefer JJ Thai on Chestnut street. Wonderful food beautifully presented and it's a BYO.

He just signed a massive contract last year. I didn't know he's only 26. For some reason I thought he was older

McLane said one player source told him the Eagles run way too much shotgun.

And another player source told him the entire offense had a thousand yard stare on the sidelines in that game and they knew the offense had no chance in that game.

You can certainly read between the lines and presume that Hurts thinks he is better than all that now he has won a SB. We can all hypothesise that he wants an O for him, not for the team, and won't do things that he doesn't like (so changing plays, making them up etc).

If its true, who knows, but would make an OCs role almost impossible to do.
