Watching enough Cardinals games because I’ve lived out here, some of his stats are kind of like Kirk cousins. hallow as they came in a position where they weren’t winning and padding. I felt like this for a while with him, if he if he had the drive and intangibles that Jalen hurts has with the talent he has, he would be a top 10 quarterback, probably even top five. Cause that’s how much arm talent annd athleticism he has.

The other issue he’s had in his career as he always starts off-season‘s well and as the season goes on he tends to get more banged up. He begins to drop off. Some of i think is they run him into the ground and the other he gets beat up.

Makes sense. Tough to be an NFL QB at his size and not "get banged up” throughout the season.

He was an incredible baseball player. I got to watch him play against my son in the Connie Mack league here in north Texas. Fastest center fielder I have ever seen in person. I was hoping he would play baseball because of his size, but there was a better chance he would make a lot more money going the football route. He was 43-0 with three straight state titles at the largest classification in Texas.

You know what's worse than spending the golden era of Eagles history complaining about Hurts and Howie? Spending it complaining about people complaining about Hurts and Howie.

Of course, I'm complaining about people complaining about people complaining about Hurts and Howie. So that makes me the worst.

^That’s funny right there. My head hurts a little after reading it, but it’s funny 😂

Wow. That’s impressive.

Well stats doen’t lie - they’re 1-17 without Murray, so I respectfully disagree.

Teams win and teams lose. Brisset wasnt there for the majority of those games, so that "stat" is pretty meaningless to this discussion.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals blew sizable leads in 3 of the 5 games with Brisset starting. A better defensive performance from Gannon's expertise, and the record with brisset starting is 4-1 and the Cardinals have a winning record on the season. Long story short, they are better with Brisset. They aren't a good team, they don't have a good coach, but they are better with Brisset.

Here's a different stat to consider if you want to base everything on stats... Murray has more turnovers than Brisset while they have the same number of TDs.

Is Kyler Murray the best QB from Texas?

ESPN canvased Texas to find the best high school quarterback in its history, and dozens of names came back -- Matthew Stafford, Patrick Mahomes and Drew Brees among them -- but Murray was singled out

Yeah I’m over the Murray vs Brissett debate. Bye weeks tend to take conversations like this too far. (I don’t know enough about either QB or the team to be debating it) Touché. lol

I don’t think so. I listened to Howie. He didn’t make it sound like it was a ridiculous question just that they didn’t want to get worse in the short run for this seasons chances. I’d say there’s over a 50% chance AJ is traded before next season

Time will tell. I’m skeptical. I would remove the zero in your chance.

Trade Quinyon TBH

4 hours ago, Sack that QB said:

When teams trade players it virtually always checks one of the following boxes:

-Player asks to be traded

-Team thinks player makes team worse(either on field or in locker room as a problem child)

-Player is in decline, so trade him to get value while you can

-Team is bad so is rebuilding

-Trading player gives significant cap relief

-You get a generational haul for a player you had no plans to move and offer was simply too good to be true.

An AJ Brown trade checks none of those boxes. The Eagles aren't in the business of trading good players away who are happy being part of the team, can still play, and are loved by their teammates because they want more catches. Can't think of a trade off the top of my head for a player of that caliber that didn't at least check one of those boxes.

Like if a team offers 3 firsts or something insane, ok, you could argue the last box, but no one's offering that.

I'll put the odds at 5%. I'll check back with my source in the offseason and see if anything changes from what I last heard as well.

Your 5% is identical to my 5% reference above.

Westlake is another storied high school program in Texas, Drew Brees, Nick Foles, Justin Tucker among several others...but not even close to what Murray did as a Soph, Junior, and Senior seasons...Mahomes is probably the most talented ever to come out of TX but he didn't win championships at Whitehouse, Vince Young, same thing...one of the most iconic QBs in college fb history and failed in the NFL.

I am more of a HS football junkie than an NFL junkie, I love the fact the kids are playing because they love the game and for a chance to be great. Not so much for the money although that is changing here as well...prospective college athletes 17 and older may sign NIL deals with colleges as of this summer as long as their UIL eligibility has expired, that bill was signed this past summer.

When DAL trades players it virtually always checks EVERY ONE of the following boxes:

-Jerry is drunk

-Jerry is mentally challenged

-Jerry wants to make a "splash'

-Jerry hates his fan base

Don't be a Jerry.

Every other team in the NFC East is on a 2+ game streak of losing by double digits.

Dallas and NY are at 2 and DC is at 3 in a row.

Their odds to make the playoffs are 5%, 3%, and less than 1%

2025 Dak is 2-0 vs DC and NYG and 1-5-1 in his other games.

For his career he is 26-4 vs those two combined and 53-47-1 in his other games,

I only started watching that show Peacemaker because of Eagly.

Other QBs say "Eff it he ain't picking this" and throw it anyway. That's the only explanation

The Cowboys and LeBron are not a football team and a basketball player.

Both are Corporate Brands 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Any actual games are of minor concern.

The Micah situation made ESPN say Cowboys 37 times a day. That was Jerrah's Super Bowl.

Also, what are the odds that Jerrah will call Quinnen Williams by the name Quincy?

The problem was compounded by drafting McCord who was also a disaster. So he had to fix it by trading again for another QB.

The compounding problem was McKie’s injury. Expecting a rookie 6th Round QB to be the primary backup for a Super Bown aspiring team is not a wise risk under any circumstances. Howie bought an insurance policy.

Yeah. I hear that Texas is on a different level when it comes to High Scool football.

76ers blew a big one.

Flyers won though at least

Yeah 76ers blew a huge lead. The Bulls now go to 6-1 76ers 5-2.

Still a very young team - some growing pains - but with as much talent as they have, they’ll be fine, imo.
