Procedure could be a steroid injection. Could be a PRP injection. Could be a Tenex procedure, which is basically a debridement "surgery" that happens in the doctors office rather than an operating room, so is considered a procedure rather than a surgery. And can be done to treat a variety of things though it generally rules out more serious injuries, that would require actual surgeries.

That would say far more about the Bills than anything else.

He wanted to toughen it out but that didn't workWe have a bunch of players in that category too
December 4Dec 4 1 minute ago, NOTW said:Yep. He should have sat the 2nd Giants game the week before the bye and had the surgery then. AJ Brown and Jurgens also didn't play that game. We've got several guys now that are trying to tough it out which is great, but not if injuries are holding back your performance. BOTH shoulders, yikes.Fact McLane said he’s been dealing with this since the spring tells me this type of produced probably should’ve been done months ago during the offseason. He would’ve had ample time to recover

Dickerson in particular would probably be completely healthy by now if that had sat him to begin with. He wound up missing time anyway and now doesn’t seem to be himself.Yeah. He was ineffective, and noticeably injured early on. Id say by week 3 or 4 they reported he was dealing with a "significant" injury in his shoulder but trying to play through it. Around that same time, he visibly injured his wrist as well.
December 4Dec 4 Slay wasn't going to Buffalo. It was obvious. Eagles or nothing. And I just doubted the Bills would not grant a player his wishes. May take a little while, but if Slay wants to be here to start, Rosenhaus would make it happen. No doubt in my mind there. Bills will look like chumps here to hold a player back who wants to retire with his former team and actually play football.
December 4Dec 4 6 minutes ago, Sack that QB said:This feels like a why bother situation for the Bills. Slay is a month away from retirement, he doesn't wanna play there, he's not some major impact player, why bother?Because they don't have the greatest WR room and they have to play PHI the 2nd to last week of the season. That game may decide whether or not they make the playoffs, it's very simple in my mind. They would be hurting their chances to win that game, why? Just to make someone feel good before they retire? Like @LeanMeanGM said, BUF doesn't owe him anything.

December 4Dec 4 12 minutes ago, Sack that QB said:I don't think so. Moving for 5 weeks to Buffalo, NY in December... not wanting to do that is understandable when you're retiring in a matter of weeks.Sure, it's understandable. If that's how he feels, he can retire.Bills don't have to do him right just because his feeling are hurt and he didn't get his way.
December 4Dec 4 13 minutes ago, DrPhilly said:They have been extremely tardy in getting rest and procedure for a couple of players this year. With a roster like the Eagles they should have been more focused on the long term then they’ve been with Dickerson, Jurgens, and Carter.I honestly wonder if the difference is that Fangio will straight up tell players they're playing like ass, but Nick (and certainly not Patullo) don't have the guts and/or the authority to do that right now.

December 4Dec 4 13 minutes ago, DrPhilly said:Costs them a roster spot but they might think that’s worth it.It doesn't really. It cost them a roster spot to claim him but now that he said he's not reporting they can just put him on the did not report list to open the spot and sign back the guy they cut yesterday.
December 4Dec 4 If Fangio was never going to play Bennett, trading Booker looks like an extremely bad idea now.

He would be using up a roster spot at a crucial time of the season and not playing at all.I think the roster spot would open back up as he would be placed on the reserve/did not report list, and they would still retain his rights in the event he did report. I am not certain about this but it would seem logical.
December 4Dec 4 Funny, the Bills lost and waived solid special teams and depth CB in Ingram yesterday to make room for Slay. Go to work Howie. Sign Ingram and.....Slay, once Bills cave. And the Bills become the Bills and fall short as always.

He’s not been himself all year and this is likely the reason.

No doubt there is some clause in the players’ agreement.
