Eagles have to sacrifice these last few weeks of going all out for playoff seeding. As long as they win the division, I am still not off the boat....IF....Carter, L Johnson, Dickerson and Jurgens can be 65%-70% of themselves by playoff time. And Jalen is healthy to do his thing in the playoffs with the stray jacket off. In addition, Slay comes on board with Epps just not looking like Sydney Brown out there. A lot has to go right here. BUT doesn't seem like any team wants this thing. Eagles need to play the long game here to have a shot. Still gonna be interesting to watch their approach.

I don’t think they can coast into the playoffs - every game has become hard at this point.

Right. But now they just lost a helpful depth player on the hopes of getting Slay. Who they should have realized would not go there at this point. Eagles are not the Bills competitor. If they are really worried about him playing them in 3 weeks to make such a move then they are a psyched out franchise altogether and expecting the worst.

I will agree that they won't coast with all of the injuries. And got much harder losing to the Bears. But if guys are playing with one arm and one leg you have to plan ahead and see if they will be worth anything by playoff time. I think 2 wins gets it done. Don't see Cowboys winning out. Hopefully, they lose tonite on the road to Lions. So they get 1 win vs Raiders and 1 win vs Commanders. Hopefully, with their earlier meeting. Deeming the Bills and the final Commanders game as 2 exhibition games essentially. This team is battered and have many key starters that have played 2 out of the last 3 extended seasons here. a few interesting things here.

Appears Jaelen Philips being assisted to the sideline at the end of the Chicago game was because he got his bell rung.

Epps undisclosed injury was a shoulder. Not sure why it would ever be undisclosed though.

We are missing one knee injury from having head, shoulders, knees and toe, knees and toe.

I’m probably more on the pessimistic side, but I’m having trouble finding more than 2 wins left. I’d like to think the Raiders at home would be one and at least one of the Washington games. But would anyone really be shocked if they split those games between a division rival? Buffalo and the Chargers won’t be easy. I would take 3 more wins finishing at 11-6 right now if offered to me.

The over corrections seems more like damage control because he's such a huge part of the defense that people will assume that side will collapse while he's out

That’s my concern. They’re too beat up and Dallas is in a good position to abuse their secondary. Their other hard game is the Chargers, and they get them at home.
