Can't tell if I like the Eagles trolling the Packers with those jerseys or not. Yeah I guess I do

Guess no black uniform and helmet combo for Black Friday?

Nike cant even make silver pants. So before Nike took over all uniforms at least. Probably longer since midnight green came around in like 1999? I guess before that then. @bpac55 do you know?

You forgot DAL loses to the bye week.

I could see it happening. The Eagles won the bye week.

The Texans did it the right way -- they spent the draft capital and made a splash by selecting Stroud and Will Anderson back-to-back and came away with 2 core pieces. We can debate Stroud's abilities but he's their franchise QB, and they came away with a DPOY in addition.

Jaguars spent all the draft capital on one guy who is getting 57% of the offensive snaps and 31% of the defensive snaps -- not sure that's what anyone had in mind when they moved all the way up to the #2 overall pick. Could have stayed at #5 and drafted 1 player who'd likely be used better.

The Jets trades have the potential to set them up so well. I saw some people say "Who cares about those Colts picks, they're going to be the bottom of the first round" but those people who view it that way are looking at it very shortsighted. We see every draft, some team is willing to jump up back into the first round and give up a future first to do it. The Jets could find themselves trading away that 2026 Colts pick to some desperate team trying to get back into the first for another 2027 first, and suddenly they have 4 firsts in what is projected to be an absolutely loaded draft class. And on top of that if they get the #1 overall pick in 2026 they could trade down with to a team that wants the top QB and amass even more picks. They position themselves to have potentially a billion picks in upcoming drafts if they play their cards right.

Just another reason DAL should not have made the Williams trade yesterday

They wore them in the last game with the Kelly green jerseys... as it should be. But they don't use the silver any more except for the KGs.

Anytime black is used and it isn't really even a secondary color of a team I don't like it. Can't explain it, just doesn't seem right to put a color in the uni just to change it up.

You are correct.

The Midnight Green became the primary color in 1996.

Don't let it bother you. The Jags push no doubt increased the price the Turds had to pay. The Jags did us a favor.

Was thinking exactly this earlier.

So it seems silver pants would have last been worn in 1995 with those kelly greens.

These days they wear gray since Nike couldnt produce the silver.

Williams is a fine player, but won't there be FAs in the offseason that won't cripple the boys draft-wise?

We don't worry about that kind stuff in DAL, not part of the Jones' soap opera script, gotta make that splash right now. smdh.

Their owner is really ****. So i suspect that has something to do with it

Good, #15 was ugly on DE and no need to provoke the Van Buren boys.

Thank god, black on black is the worst uni combo in the nfl

Yeah, but they won’t be Quinnen Williams

Only way to really get a guy of that caliber unless you get lucky and draft him top 10

So, after a day, here's where I think Dallas actually stands, and it is downright hysterical.

First, they traded Micah Parsons and Mazi Smith (who is a net negative) for Quinnen Williams, Kenny Clark, moving up ~20-25 spots in the 2026 draft (gave away a 2nd rounder in the middle of the round for a 1st that will likely be in the 20s) and likely back ~5-15 spots in the 2027 1st round (since NYJ get the better pick, and I'm assuming DAL own pick will be the one surrendered). So let's say they went from pick 48 (middle of round 2) to pick 25 in 2026 -- that's a gain of 300 points (720 for pick 25, 420 for pick 48). And let's be generous and say they are a playoff team next year, so they go from 20 to 25, costing them 130 points (850 for pick 20, 720 for pick 25). Then discount that by ~20% for being a year out, and call it 100 points in 2026 value, so the overall net gain is 200 points -- that's pick 78, basically a mid round 3 pick. So -- it's Micah + Mazi for QW, KC and a 3rd round pick! That's objectively terrible.

But wait, there's more. QW only has $7.656mm in guaranteed money after this year, so he will be looking for a big deal. KC also has no guaranteed money left, so he either needs a new deal or will be released. Per OTC, Dallas is $35mm OVER the 2026 cap right now (Spotrac has 15mm, but they don't have IR guys like Diggs on there, who may be released), but that's with Dak at $74mm - a restructure would free up around ~31mm, so now they have -4mm in cap space (but also 2 1st round picks to sign). They can get another 35mm for other restructures like Ceedee (18mm) and Tyler Smith (17mm), so Jerry could get to ~30mm in cap space if he maxes out, but he NEVER does (seriously, he never does this). Then you have to resign QW and KC. Now, you could do deals to lower their cap numbers, but again...Jerry is cheap. So they COULD have these guys and $30mm in cap space, but Jerry would have to write big bonus checks, and he's never done that in the past. With that space, they need to resign Pickens. And get an actual back 7 on defense.

TLDR -- I have no clue what the hell they are doing.

If there was an agreement that he will play next year on his current deal and then get a new contract, it’s a fine trade. In a vacuum at least.

What i haven’t seen talked about is how do you have discussions with the Jets and not end up pivoting to Sauce….when you set aside coaching, the secondary is the biggest issue in Dallas.
