Never beating those allegations

secondary is the biggest issue in Dallas

Losing Lewis was bigger than most anticipated, along with Diggs just quitting when his buddy got traded. Draft another guy recovering from a knee injury, always looking for the injured guy in the draft to try and get a steal. Leighton Vander Esch, Jaylon Smith, Sean Lee, Shavon Revel and others...LVE and Sean Lee lasted a little while but still everything can't be a bargain and you expect to win.

Diggs has never been good/great though. He got a lot of picks one season while giving up the most yards in the league and Jerry backed a Brinks truck up to his house. Overall it’s just really weird, I don’t think any move was the right play for Dallas, though QW is a tremendous player. In 3 weeks they have an insane 5 game gauntlet that based off recent performances they’ll go 0-5 on.

Yep...should have been sellers not buyers

Not trying to be a jerk, but not sure you guys had much to sell. People wanted defense it seems, not offense. Pickens is the one piece you could have moved on offense, but as a short term rental, maybe you get a 3rd? You're not moving any of the offensive lineman, and I can't think of anyone on your defense someone would have wanted.

Glory hole days! One thing that miffs me about Jerrah as well…for as much as he loves drama and splash on the field. When it comes to coaching selections, he always goes for the most lukewarm selection.

More like... gives him 4 weeks to work on his CoD game.

Nike cant even make silver pants. So before Nike took over all uniforms at least. Probably longer since midnight green came around in like 1999? I guess before that then. @bpac55 do you know?

Midnight was introduced in 1996.

Nike took over in 2012. That's when all the "sheen" was taken away from material.

The thing is, Nike CAN make silver pants. The Raiders still have silver pants. There's no reason the Kelly Green can't have true silver pants.

Diggs...give him away, a 6th maybe 7th, I want his ass gone. I just didn't want to give up picks like they did...

That grey is still a good look.

Nobody wants that contract, even with no guaranteed money.

So, after a day, here's where I think Dallas actually stands, and it is downright hysterical.

First, they traded Micah Parsons and Mazi Smith (who is a net negative) for Quinnen Williams, Kenny Clark, moving up ~20-25 spots in the 2026 draft (gave away a 2nd rounder in the middle of the round for a 1st that will likely be in the 20s) and likely back ~5-15 spots in the 2027 1st round (since NYJ get the better pick, and I'm assuming DAL own pick will be the one surrendered). So let's say they went from pick 48 (middle of round 2) to pick 25 in 2026 -- that's a gain of 300 points (720 for pick 25, 420 for pick 48). And let's be generous and say they are a playoff team next year, so they go from 20 to 25, costing them 130 points (850 for pick 20, 720 for pick 25). Then discount that by ~20% for being a year out, and call it 100 points in 2026 value, so the overall net gain is 200 points -- that's pick 78, basically a mid round 3 pick. So -- it's Micah + Mazi for QW, KC and a 3rd round pick! That's objectively terrible.

But wait, there's more. QW only has $7.656mm in guaranteed money after this year, so he will be looking for a big deal. KC also has no guaranteed money left, so he either needs a new deal or will be released. Per OTC, Dallas is $35mm OVER the 2026 cap right now (Spotrac has 15mm, but they don't have IR guys like Diggs on there, who may be released), but that's with Dak at $74mm - a restructure would free up around ~31mm, so now they have -4mm in cap space (but also 2 1st round picks to sign). They can get another 35mm for other restructures like Ceedee (18mm) and Tyler Smith (17mm), so Jerry could get to ~30mm in cap space if he maxes out, but he NEVER does (seriously, he never does this). Then you have to resign QW and KC. Now, you could do deals to lower their cap numbers, but again...Jerry is cheap. So they COULD have these guys and $30mm in cap space, but Jerry would have to write big bonus checks, and he's never done that in the past. With that space, they need to resign Pickens. And get an actual back 7 on defense.

TLDR -- I have no clue what the hell they are doing.

It's worse than what you say because they are 3-5-1 and in what is most likely a hole that will lead to no playoffs. So by the time they got QW a season is lost. And Dak will be 33 next year and KC might not be on team.

Like you said earlier no one knows what DAL is doing including themselves.

Diggs and Steele are likely post June 1 cuts next year. They both suck. If I have read OTC correctly:

Steele dead vs cap savings 2026

$4,125,000

$14,000,000

Diggs dead vs cap savings 2026

$2,941,178

$15,500,000

Packers were obviously embarrassed by the Panthers loss. They also want revenge for us ending their season. The Chiefs and Rams also wanted Revenge this year. This is a very important "Tiebreaker" game for standing purposes. The Eagles are coming back healthy with more ammo. I like our chances on Monday night. The Eagles have won their last 3 games against the Packers.

We aren't likely to tie Packers on record given their tie. So I don't think a tiebreaker against them is needed (albeit does go to conference record which can be important for other tiebreakers).

The tiebreaker against the Lions will be more important, therefore if you told me we are going 1 - 1 next two weeks, I would personally take the win over the Lions more

Interesting note on that CAR/GB game. Micah Parsons had ZERO pressures on 21 pass rush attempts...first shutout of his career.

My experience with those other alternatives is that it is impossible to carry on a conversation/discussion. Communication is one way. The EMB doesn’t have that limitation

Everyone knew. The problem is he had spinal fusion surgery and just got cleared this week. I don't think he really helps out anyone short term.
