1 hour ago1 hr Losing the SB is brutal for a team. If you’re not going to win it, it’s best not to go. Completely disrupts recovery timeline for offseason surgeries, strength training.Dynasties like KC and NE typically handle it better because they are used to the grind of the shorter offseason, getting there every year, and getting back. But for franchises that are on an emotional roller coaster to get to that rare SB, the dysphoria and disappointment with a quick return to square 1 seems to destroy teams.
