I know. Demeco has been there a few years now. Offense started out pretty good Strouds rookie year but has declined since and been going backwards.

I'm convinced more that ever that Reid and Kelce (and maybe Chris Jones) were going to retire after last season, but the Eagles ruined the moment. And you can see that all over their play this season.

Their hearts just aren't in it.

Monday 10:00 AM Eagles-Chargers Week 14 Game Score Predictions Update - 10 hours until Monday Night Kickoff

After the flurry of this morning's submissions, 30 predictions are recorded with 16 for an Eagles win and 14 for a Chargers win.  The average predicted score has moved to an Eagles 22 Chargers 22 ... after rounding. The raw averages still favor the Chargers.

I have again relied 100% on the @mattwill notifications this week. If you don't see your name in the list below, I either missed your prediction or you haven't submitted one yet.

I'd be surprised if they win tonight. They just look tired, no emotion, and the Chargers have a good Defense. It's week 14 and our Offense still is wretched.

I really don’t have a feel for tonight. I think they win two more games this season against Vegas and maybe a split with Washington. The offense has been the offense all season long so I don’t expect much, but that was disappointing last week seeing the defense get bullied like that.

To me it's the presnap penalties. If they have more than 2-3 unforced penalties by halftime, then we'll know if there's any chance at a run this season.

Which speaks to his mindset during the game. A WR should NEVER take a false start. He's not focused.

They're pretty much stuck with Deshaun Watson as their starting QB next year, regardless. Stefanski should request a mutual parting of ways to get out of there while he's still employable elsewhere.

They definitely need a spark. I'd like to get Tank 10 touches and feed off of his urgency. It doesn't have to be a slight on Barkley. Make it more of a compliment which will allow Barkley to extend his career and allow the entire team to get some new energy from Tank. Look at the rookie from the Bears for example of the sort of energy I hope Tank might be able to bring to the table.

I’m thinking more on the ugh, oof, <sigh> part of the spectrum. We’ve seen this team a lot now, so the time for getting a ‘WOW are they bad’ response has passed.

I have a feeling this is a comeback game for the Defense. Stop the run and make Herbert throw with a banged up O line. The offense without Lane cannot win. With Mack and the Chargers D I'm worried. Final score prediction. Eagles 17 Chargers 13. @mattwill

I think that might play a role in fans' unwillingness to honestly assess his skills and overall play, but by my count there are now 16 out of 32 NFL QBs who are either black or biracial. It should be evaluated on merit alone at this point. Yesterday was a game where Sanders' performance dictated he should have been pulled.

In the end it doesn't really matter; I've maintained all year that neither Gabriel nor Sanders are good enough to be an NFL starting QB. Whenever there is doubt, though, Gabriel should be the QB playing because he was the higher draft pick and has been objectively better all season, concussion aside.

I'm ready for the Tanner era to start. The sooner, the better. This offensive coaching staff and QB isn't it. If they lose 2-3 more games in a row, maybe they can shut down Dickerson and Jurgens before we totally ruin their careers with injuries. Most likely what will happen is we mediocre our way into the playoffs and win a round and then it makes it tougher for Howie to make the change. I'm on to next year and looking forward to having a new QB but I assume that won't happen until the middle of next year. We will try with Hurts again and he will be worse than this year since he can't run anymore, which was the only thing that made him a somewhat effective QB.
