I think an abrupt decline in on-field explosiveness is also creating the appearance of effort issues.

tldr version; 5 turnovers is a loss. The fact that they were even in this game is a testament to the game the defense played.

I don't know that I would try to break this game down. It was not a good game for QB1.

Part of benching Hurts at halftime is that it makes people like AJ who is giving half effort realize that they are a big reason their QB got benched.

Its not a QB1 punishment. You get to see if QB2 has it that day when QB1 does not and you get to shock the team into some accountability.

You can't bench on offensive line and benching AJ just makes the offense worse.

Not expecting much from this season. They won't beat the Rams or Seahawks. Probably add GB to that list as well.

At the very least win back to back division titles. Something that hasn't been done in forever.

At this point there’s only one reason I want them to win the division… to stave off the complete and utter embarrassment of being 94% certain to make the playoffs and failing. I mean a week or so ago that % was higher Im sure.

They beat Green Bay 3 times since the start of 2024.

If you have a crystal ball that says Lane Johnson and Jalen Carter won't play in the playoffs then I might be slightly worried about playing the Rams.

Nah, we have to be willing to let this thing bottom out. It's the only way anything is going to change.

It isn’t even really about the Rams or any team in fact. The NFL is mired in mediocrity this year. But I just don’t think we can beat a good team at this point because we can’t beat average teams. I’ll agree I think the Rams are good but not scary. I just don’t think we can beat many teams at this moment. And I don’t see it getting better.

The Raiders this season are playing as bad of football as I have seen from an NFL team in quite some time. They are not even remotely competitive. They suck on offense, they suck on defense, they can't protect the QB who sucks as it is. They are just so so bad. If they come into the Linc on Sunday and make it a game, let alone win it, that would be one of the worst regular season losses in franchise history. Like that Cardinals game in 2023 except 1000x worse. I do think losing that game could tip the scales on Sirianni's job status.

I saw the replay of the Q PI that is an awful call. They didn’t show it in the stadium but it looked like should’ve been a no call. That is a weak ass call

Since we're talking about rare feats, a player recording an interception and a fumble on the same play has not happened in almost 50 years(1978), according to AI. AI is often wrong and about as trustworthy as wikipedia but seems legit.

We had an awful unthinkable loss in 2023 so look I absolutely think this team can lose to this awful Raiders team. Our offense is so inept and so freaking stupid that it will keep it a close game.

Last 3 games number of pass attempts 39, 34, 40...definitelly no coincisence we lost all of those

You sure. We have to win atleast 3 of 4 providing the Cowboys win out and they have a much easier schedule. I won't be shocked if we don't make the playoffs.

Give the offense credit they actually outgained a team tonight lol. Think it’s the 2-3 time this year. Their turnovers were bad. Like 3 of hurts picks were just all on him. Aj not catching 2 deep balls. The one int was a hospital ball that was going to end poorly either way. Either he gets destroyed or that happens.

Interesting, the 1978 play was multiple fumbles and not an int then a fumble. Hurts might have made NFL history.

And the thing is… that’s a lot to ask of any QB. But with Hurts that’s just asking for trouble. And it’s why it’s fair to have a conversation about whether they need to think about the medium to long term with him. There’s too many limitations with him.

He needs elite weapons. Well in the next couple of years that’s going to change as they invest more on defense. He needs a run game. Well that needs a really good healthy RB with a good OL. He can’t throw the ball too much otherwise there’s trouble. Well sometimes with no run game or when you are behind you need to throw the ball. He doesn’t like to go under Center. Well you need variety. He doesn’t like pre snap motion. Well that helps an offense.

Okay sorry yeah I’ll give the offense credit. In fact I’ll give Jalen credit. Well done Jalen you threw for more yards than the opposite QB. He may have a fractured wrist and an OL that couldn’t protect him but don’t let that deter you Jalen. You did it you outgained him.

All I can say i have seen Wentz do so much more with so little weapons. It's a travesty with the personnel we have the O is so inept. Maybe it's better for Hurts to just play guarded and not take any chances.
