18 hours ago18 hr I get that Sirianni is a CEO style coach and doesn’t really bring much to the table from an X’s and O’s standpoint. He’s not the first coach to be like that and you can still be successful with that style. But that’s two out of the last three years now where the team has been riddled with drama, the culture has evaporated, and the season collapsed. The fact that a Super Bowl win is sandwiched in between those two seasons is kind of hilarious. But that’s an indictment on Nick.

The fact that a Super Bowl win is sandwiched in between those two seasons is kind of hilarious. But that’s an indictment on Nick.It really makes it look much more like it was a function of the coordinators in place and not the HC... sort of like he's been riding coattails. It really seems like the more he does the worse things are.Hurts' worst game as a pro? Check.Brown's worst as an Eagle? Yup.OL woes continue? Absolutely.Without Fangio running the defense this team is lucky to have won 2 games this year, and that's not hyperbole, that's reality. Once again, the only reason the Eagles had even a remote chance of winning was the defense refused to let the game snowball. But the offense looked like the Keystone Kops. (again!!!)

Can blame Hurts saying he doesn’t want to do under center (i don’t believe that’s the reason… when you misuse guys as frequently as we do that’s really more coaching) but your coach needs to have balls and tell him it’s for the betterment of him and the team or notice the Fing trend. It was blatantly obvious watching the game last night that they were way way way better under center than in shotgun. Nice to see the numbers bearing it out.
17 hours ago17 hr Oh and AJ after a game like that where you drop a handful of catches that we needed and tipped a ball for an INT...You are as much a part of the problem as anyone. You didn't false start last night... but you found other ways to screw the team. DeVonta is the man, not you. You only think you are the man. They should have kept feeding Smith and Goedert all year, even as the whiner started chirping. Instead they tried to placate his ego and the team has nose dived ever since. 4-0 before his first cryptic tweet... and 4-5 since... a 2 game losing streak and now a 3 game. That's leadership. And he's led them right into the sewer.
17 hours ago17 hr I joked about it last night, but Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo might be the DT the Eagles need to keep. I LOVE when Jalen Carter is playing up to his level, but if the Cowboys can trade Mikah Parsons, the Eagles can trade Jalen Carter. Davis has become the monster we anticipated and he doesn't need a babysitter. He's still going to cost a lot, but he's the guy they should be trying to keep. The impact Carter makes on a game is huge, but last night was the first game he missed where I thought they would be OK. A couple of 1st round picks would ne nice in return.Still not letting Nakobe Dean out of this building. Jaelen Phillips is the edge they should keep.Love Nolan Smith's attitude, but haven't seen enough from him to warrant a big contract. Marcus Epps might be good enough even turning 30 to be a stop gap safety. He's just a solid player back there. Either that, or anyone with a pulse is better than Sidney Brown.
17 hours ago17 hr I’d question what Sirianni really brings to the team as a CEO coach. If he provides nothing in the Xs and Os department, then what does he bring to the table? I get he’s a nice guy that seems to be able to motivate, but that only takes you so far, especially when things are not going swell. I don’t mean to discredit his accomplishments, but he sometimes seems like a "cheerleader” who still can’t believe he got the opportunity to coach an NFL team. In order for a CEO type coach to work, I’d think you’d have to have full respect of the people you’re leading. I just don’t know how much respect you attain if you don’t really offer much that will make players respect you for your knowledge or previous achievements…
17 hours ago17 hr Watching the game was like going to the dentist and getting four root canals. Yet again lots of blame to go around and while Hurts was terrible he did put two balls right in AJ's hands in the 4th quarter to win the game and AJ dropped both of them. That doesn't excuse Hurts in the least but he's not the only issue.

17 hours ago17 hr Last 3 games A.J. has got over 100 yards. Last 3 games are losses. Eagles don't need to make sure he gets his touches, they need to make sure we win.
17 hours ago17 hr We aren't going to the playoffs and if we somehow back in it will be one and done. Last year was great. Let's face it though last year seems like a long time ago.
17 hours ago17 hr Coaching matters big time and the Eagles offensive coaching is a total disgrace. Every week they've put the team at a disadvantage and the wheels are finally coming off.Hurts was awful but I'm so sick of them putting him in a position to fail. They're constantly in long yardage because they waste 20 snaps per game running plays they know they can't block. They're refuse to run formations they don't like. There's maybe 1 route open each pass play and usually an unblocked pass rusher. They broke Hurts and now he's pressing. They're too scared to tell Dickerson and Jergens to sit their arses down. Neither can block at all, they're probably the worst interior OL in the league. Mailata sucks this year. The frustrating part is there's nothing they can do about it now. It's too late. We have to watch every defense in the league have a "get right" game against Nick and Patullo and they have no answers at all.Just look at offense vs defense. Coaching matters a lot.

He left so many points on the field and if he would have just kept his stupid teenaged nonsense out of the media they wouldn't be playing on pins and needles every week. They should have benched him weeks ago. But again, the coaches are the players' pals and buddies
16 hours ago16 hr The thing about AJ and his "antics” is, if you’re going mouth off about not being involved enough, you’d better perform to the highest standard. His silly stuff didn’t only put a lot of pressure on the team, but also on him. And he failed last night when it counted.

Best case, we win 3 out of 4 and Dallas wins all 4. I’d at least get to enjoy the Cowboys coming soooo close and failing. That would be a minor win for the headaches this team has caused us the entire year.
16 hours ago16 hr The only difference really between 2023 and this year is the defense seems to actually still want to try. 2023 nothing went right. Cant wait for them to lose out and fire the assistant to the assistant coach and tun it back next year.

Brown.
16 hours ago16 hr Here’s a very important thing everyone should acknowledge about Hurts: There is PLENTY of blame to go around for the offense. But there is ONE reason why they run the offense the way they do. One reason why the route concepts are so vanilla and predictable. One reason why the WRs have no yac (you can’t get yac on stationary hitch routes). One reason why they under use slants and the middle of the field. And one reason why it feels like an extremely vanilla, simple offense. And that reason is Hurts. Last night wasn’t an anomaly because Hurts usually protects the football. It was an anomaly because they dont usually open up the playbook and have Hurts throw to all sections of the field with more routes like that. And when they do, he’s a turnover machine. We’ve seen it multiple times in the past. And that’s when Siri clams up and reverts to the JV HS offense. The catch is they usually get bailed out by an absurdly dominant running game when they make that pivot.
16 hours ago16 hr Credit where credit is due. I've ripped Byron Young all year. He's been an absolute non-factor on this team. He showed up last night and played DT4 the way you want. I still want to see more Ty Robinson though. He stands out when he's on the field and you'd like to know what you have in him headed in to year 2.

I don't believe it.When they ask him to throw over the middle, he's fine. When they ask him to go under center he's fine. They can't design any plays with YAC, opposing defenses regularly laugh at our scheme and predictability. On his interception to Smitty, the DB ran his route for him because he knew it was coming. It's Nick and Patullo. That much is obvious to me now.Even if they are bending their entire scheme to Hurts' will, then it's on the coaching. It's their job to get the most out of him and we've seen other coaches do it.Edit: and I didn't even mention the fact that they can't get playcalls in on time. Why do they snap it with 1 second left on the play clock over and over again and allow the defenses to tee off? Incompetence

I was actually more impressed with the defense last night than I was against GB and DET. The offense left them out to dry and killed them with turnovers but they just kept fighting back. Was a shame to waste that effort. They were flying last night.
16 hours ago16 hr As piss poor as Hurts played, AJ Brown was garbage. His poor effort and drops left at least 100 yards and 1 TD on the table. Drops also caused turnovers. Easily could have had 200 yards and 1 TD, if not 2 or 3 if he didn't drop and made better effort on deep balls.
