Holy smokes. A few thoughts here. Tremendous career for a guy this size. He's still an enormous d-bag. No way he makes it in the NFL. Maybe a creative coach makes him a gadget player of some sort.

Yes it was. The sentiment from all NFL reporters and pundits was the candidates this year were far weaker than previous years. "There's no bell of the ball" candidate this year was a commonly used phrase.

I wouldn’t say that. There’s always quality candidates out there. No names that end up being great hires.

I have better stats: single worst total QBR season of any Browns QB (min 5 games started) since they returned in 1999

50 is normal, higher than 60 is really good, lower than 40 is really bad

Yeah i called BS on this. No reason not to say that to start the year or any point until now. All the sudden when it’s been called into question about soft firing media is say something. Furthermore Reid has done this before and guys on eagles beat who covered Reid have said this is his way of helping a friend but also firing him.

I don’t buy for a second what Reid wouldn’t have kept him if that offense was better if he couldn’t get a HC job. He’s not throwing someone he respects under the bus even if he wanted to replace him.
