If Mannion and Cooter are the guys who've gotten second interviews my preference would be for Jim Bob. Mannion seems more suited for pass game or run game coordinator at this point in his coaching career; I think it would be a mistake to hire him as the OC designing and calling plays. Cooter has the requisite experience.

Also, if Fangio was retiring, I highly doubt they'd have let Christian Parker leave. They'd have given him the DC job to retain him.

And in this blog where nothign anti-hurts can be right, no one will agree. But Hurts deep ball "Accuracy" is significantly aided by the fact that he has two elite WRs who can track it and adjust. He is far from an accurate deep ball thrower. Most are underthrown and the WRs adjust to make it look perfect upon arrival.

Also of note, ever since the Buccs game this year, his deep ball was wildly inaccurate. Usually thrown out of bounds where WRs had no chance at it. Something is off there now.

Possibility they didnt know yet so Parker is gone. But Hurt got an interview elsewhere, and maybe the reason he is staying. 

Really though, I think this is a made up media story based on the schefter comment about nothing.

Agreed. A QB with a strong arm would actually lead the receiver, sometimes for a walk in td if the separation was enough. These "great" throws are 50/50 balls most of the time that Smith and AJ are elite at catching. Once in a while there is blown coverage so the throw accuracy doesn't matter. He will make a great throw maybe 2 out of 10 times.

This Fangio stuff is ridiculous. Unless it's something like a bad medical diagnosis, Vic would have told the team he was retiring before Parker went out the door. It's basically a rumor started by Twitter trolls after Schefter's comment.

Schefter is likely talking about a new stadium or something.

Its said to be a weak OL class, and Im finding guys to love.

There are a lot of big WRs, and there are a lot of big CBs. It looks like a deep safety class.

It doesnt help us much but it looks like an incredible LB class.

Its said to be a really good edge class.

And it looks like there are a bunch of nice big DTs.

Also, he isn't Nick Foles who just lobs every pass. Hurts throws with plenty of velocity when needed. We've seen it time and time again throughout his career.

If you gave Foles the same offensive line, running back, WR and defense that Hurts has, its probably not looking a lot different.  They are both average although Foles actually has some QB attributes.  If you asked Hurts what 2 + 2 was, it would take him 3 seconds to say 4.  He is a slow processor.  Always leaves the pocket in a hurry when no one is around.  Doesn't even get to his 2nd read.  The list goes on.
