Stout was overrated. He's always had a ton of talent to work with, including Mailata who is insanely physically gifted.

The real question is whether we get draft picks this year for AJ. If we get at least one top 3 round pick this year, we can address OT, WR, OG, DE and safety in the first three rounds with five picks.

The draft is for selecting core players for your future at key positions. The Eagles will be looking for their future RT, TE, WR2, EDGE, and S. Very doubtful it can all be done in one draft, so I expect them to focus on the OL/DL and a pass catcher in the early rounds.

I wanna see if talks for Greenard pick back up this week, multiple people have been eluding to it. Edge still a huge need.

According to tankathon there are 4 EDGE prospects mocked in the lower half of the first round — Faulk, Parker, Mesidor, and Howell. I liked Howell best, followed closely by Mesidor. Parker was a somewhat distant third, and Faulk did not impress me AT ALL.

McKee will more than likely be heading out of here after next season. Assuming he’ll want to compete for a chance to start. Unless Hurts has a noticeably worse year this season, it won’t happen here.

Best case scenario is McKee accepts his fate as a backup and signs a 2-3 year deal to stick around. The best chance of that happening would be to get a deal done now.

I saw that Kirk was at Texas Tech under our wr coach and we also have Jerrod Johnson on staff now. Not sure if any of that is a positive or a negative

One of those guys would have to be head and shoulders better than the best OT or Receiver (WR or TE) available. This team needs to get younger on offense

Faulk is super young so that helps him but he has a lot to work on.

Parker is a beast in 2024 film. Not sure why the down year this year. Id be ok with him but my two top for us are Howell, and Lawrence.

Next are Zion Young, Gabe Jacas, and Derrick Moore. Parker probably goes in this group somewhere too.

That’ll be the intriguing part of the draft process without Stoutland involved. I think Howie will be leaning on the scouts’ analysis of the OL prospects and I suspect Mannion and Kuper won’t have a lot of sway (yet).

I like Lomu a lot and he might be there at #23. Selecting Lomu would require a switch to RT from either him or Mailata, though. Not sure if the Eagles thoughts on that would be it’s not worth the risk. I like Fano but he’ll likely be gone.

It's not really all that crazy.

1. Goeddert is definitely gone next year, as is AJ

2. Lane and Dickerson should both retire. Neither can make it through an entire season without getting hurt

3. Jurgens has back issues, not great for an OL. It wouldn't be surprising to see him retire also, or the eagles try to move on if he gets hurt again this year.

4. I don't think barkley leaves next year, probably the least likely thing on the list.

5. It's entirely possible hurts is gone after this year. If he still looks pedestrian in this offense, they're going to move him. He's played up to his contract for probably 5 games, luckily for us they were 2 super bowls and 2 NFC Championship games. He's very much like Eli, he's a pedestrian regular season QB but if you can make it to the playoffs there's a chance he turns it on. There's also the chance he blows like he did against the bucs twice and then this year against the niners.

Long story short, it probably won't all happen but it absolutely could, and I wouldn't be shocked if at least 4 of those things happened.
