January 18Jan 18 I like Allen and his offense still scored 30 but this is a big reason they lost tonight. (Also saw he has 15 fumbles in 15 playoff games)
January 18Jan 18 Well it official the Super bowl is gonna suck. Eagles would have won another Super Bowl easily if they had an OC who knew his head from his A-s-s
January 18Jan 18 Allen only had 4 picks and 2 lost fumbles in 14 playoff games before today. He did have 12 fumbles and only lost 2 but I'm not going to pretend to know anything about how much was luck.
January 18Jan 18 Man, the Bills reddit is rough tonight, I remember that feeling of hopelessness, feeling cursed that we will never win a Superbowl.Thank you Dougie P and Nick Foles for saving me from a lifetime of that misery.
January 18Jan 18 with the injury to Nix this probably means were getting a New England / Seatttle super bowl

This feels very much like Tony Dungy with the buccaneers. Where he got him to a certain point, and he just couldn’t get them over the hump. Secondly their defense is not good. I thought they were very fortunate to beat the Jaguars with that defense. Jaguars could’ve ran all Over that defense with how tuten and ETN looked. The fact they only got 14 carries and coen had that game plan was ridiculous. That said in the last six losses that Buffalo has had in the playoffs they’re giving up 33 points. Furthermore they haven’t held a team below 27 points in any of their playoff losses since 2020. just for comparison the last 6 eagles playoff losses, opponent has only scored 27+ 3 out of 6
January 18Jan 18 off topic - watching sports center and they're reporting Matt Lefleur signs an extension with the Packers and they're working on a new deal with GM Brian Gutekunst

Now they went linebacker after years of thinking they never would. I just don’t think they value that position enough to take it in the first round. I think it’s gonna be an offensive or defensive lineman or may be a corner. The Eagles will take a player at basically any position if they are good enough with a high enough potential. The problem with Sadiq is that he isn’t anywhere close to a perfect prospect for the Eagles to go out on a limb. If he were 6’6” 265 pounds they’d probably consider it, but Sadiq is 6’3” 245 soaking wet. So he’s undersized and then has route running questions on top of it?I think they’ll be happy waiting until the 2nd or 3rd round.
January 18Jan 18 Yeah Hurts was 27/38 with 374 yards and 4 touchdowns in that Super Bowl. And we also lost on a horse ish DPI call. Jalen Hurts is a full tier above Josh Allen when it comes to being clutch and not choking
January 18Jan 18 Wonder which will be the next HC to get hired. Seems like the GB DC is hot enough to force a decision in next day or two.

Now McShay said he is hearing NFL people frustrated his route running has not improved and hes not getting open so well. Oregon guys are saying he seemed more motivated as a TE2. McShay's partner on the show says its a good TE class and theres not much room for error. He needs to be careful about falling back toward the pack. There seems to be decent competition for who edge #1 is in the class. Lot of people dont think Bain is the best edge on his team. The really good news imo is that Cisse may be flying up boards. Possible CB#1 hype. IMO he is a really nice player but not an eagles fit. He is skinnier than what his listed weight says. And his tackling proves it. He presses. But he doesnt tackle well. I would love for him to move up and push another talented CB down.Of note, most of this is not McShay hot takes, but what he has been told by NFL teams. If Bain falls because of lack of armlength and agility testing, that’s fine by me - he’s a real bully and hand/glove replacement for BG. Do we need a BG in this scheme? I think so, as we brought in ZS last season. Is Mesidor (sp?) better, perhaps, he’s also turning 25.

That was 3 years ago.
January 18Jan 18 The Ravens and the Raiders seem like the wildcards in the coaching search. Both could go McDaniel
