I think Fangio respects the Shanahan scheme and I think that's why he went to Miami. I've heard him say on Shanahan, McVay & Johnson they run a good scheme. It almost felt like a backhanded shot at Sirriani

Yeah, I'd love someone from those coaching trees. Like I said earlier, LaFleur from the Rams is my first choice. Movement, scheming to get WRs on LBs and safeties, multiple play options from the same formation, TEs downfield. I'm aching for it.

Never thought Patullo was a good passing game coordinator. The passing offense has not been good during his tenure. I never saw how he could ever be a good offensive coordinator.

Sure, I think it’s a different dynamic but could be an issue if the team isn’t playing well. I kind of figure McDaniels is in the HC mix or will join up with Dan Quinn.

Out of curiosity...to see if we are all on the same page:

A. Eagles hire an OC who will call plays and participate in game planning/scheme. But they will largely, deferentially exist within the framework Siri wants.

B. Eagles hire an OC who will call plays and dictate game planning/scheme. This is their offense. They construct it. Siri sits in meetings, talks to everyone, but takes a back seat.

IMO, there is a 100% certainty which of these will happen. I'm just not sure if everyone sees it that way?

I think Stefanski and Harbaugh are definitely. Tomlin if he wants it but maybe he takes a year off. Daboll and Kingsbury I think won’t get HC jobs. McDaniel more likely though I don’t see him as HC material. A team like Cleveland could but that’s a downgrade from Stefanski in HC terms
