Fit right in and it will be like we made no change at all.
January 21Jan 21 I don’t think Daboll to the Titans is nearly as close to a done deal as McDaniel to the chargers is btw. I would not be totally StunnEd if a chip Kelly situation emerged there and the Eagles went back to him and gave him some mega contract that lured him. Russini is the only one who has reported this so far.
January 21Jan 21 I just can't get excited about this whole situation. I pretty much expected someone exactly like Nagy or Kafka so maybe I've already talked myself into it.IMO the scheme they've been running isn't horrible, it's more been the playcalling, game planning, and personnel packages. If they would have just called a coherent game, actually put their best 11 players on the field instead of jumping on the 13 personnel trend, or maybe not gone insanely conservative overall, there's an offense that actually works somewhere in there.1. Playcalling experience. 2. A breadth of experience in multiple organizations/systems. 3. A QB perspectiveI'm a little surprised so many people are willing to risk it with younger unproven coaches. IMO that's not where we are in the lifecycle of this team, and post-Kevin Patullo

Frankly, I think he’s getting that bills job because I think his relationship with Josh Allen. So if he truly thinks he’s getting that head coaching job and Robert Saleh is a good friend of his, I could see him doing him a solid. Saying look i was one of the top coaches out therein this cycle and i was going to take that titans job. It makes look like well if daboll was interested and he was a big name this cycle then it must be a better job then what meets the eye.I would not remotely be shocked if he didn’t get that bills head coaching job and then he doesn’t go to the Titans

I would love for him to be a quarterback coach. I think he’s very knowledgeable and he knows how to relate information. So I am guessing that he would be good as a QB coach and potentially OC. But I just don’t think it’s his time yet that he doesn’t want to be in that field.I thought we were throwing out BS names? Got serious fast

January 21Jan 21 I'm so old that I saw Nagy play QB at the U of Delaware. Had season tickets back then. I can't even remember what year it was. 😎Hmmm I'd consider him being our OC.
January 21Jan 21 This OC search/Nagy news is like me in my 20s at the bar at 2 am…Cooter sounds pretty good right about now.
January 21Jan 21 So that I don't have to keep beating this dead horse....Can we just acknowledge that, right now, the optics certainly are that the NFL coaching community does not appear to have a high opinion of the pieces we have in place on offense and that it's concerning?

January 21Jan 21 Was I high or did the practice squad announcers try to make us pronounce Nagy as "Nudge” back in the day when he had his cup of coffee here at QB?

January 21Jan 21 Put it this way:My concern about who the offensive coordinator will be in 2026: 3/10My concern, based on how this search is going, what it says about the state of our offense and its future trajectory: 100/10If the narrative was so clean and true that it was all Patullo, Patullo was the devil, this offense just mints competent OC's into HC's (Steichen/Moore)...it does not seem that NFL offensive coaches have that viewpoint.
