Before this season began I had your cornerstones as Carter, Cooper and Q. I'm not counting on anyone else getting signed. After this season I'm adding JD as a cornerstone as he made the leap. To me, it was Milton Williams or him going forward. Looks like it's JD. As you know, I would have been perfectly fine with Milton as a cornerstone here. Patriots fans can not believe we gave up this guy. And I concur. Gonna die on that hill.

I don’t usually get personal on here, but your post hit me. I’ve been where you are. I’ve had a couple suicide attempts in my past and spent time in inpatient treatment afterward. I’m still in therap

I don't want to get rid of AJ for the simple fact that I vividly remember the years without a star receiver and even that year of Wentz throwing to trash cans

I believe they drafted Ty Robinson thinking in 2027 he could replace Ojomo the way Ojomo replaced Williams. Problem is Robinson played horrible and was deactivated most of the year. He needs to really make a quantum leap next year or he goes the way of Trevor Keegan and Ainias Smith.

Yup. This. I think it’s exactly what they thought with Robinson. I think he was long term succession plan to be the 3rd DT. However he was awful when he played.

I have a scenario where they could but i find it super unlikely. Eagles sign Dean to a deal. Then after 2026 with one year left on baun’s deal at 31 they trade him to get draft capital. Then go with Dean and Campbell who are still both young. Saves about 2.1 mil and 9.64 mil dead money in 2027. However find it very very very unlikely.

Yeah, that's an option. Maybe the best one since they will probably have to replace him after next year anyway.

Yea cam made a lot of people look good this year lol

One good thing is Howie is pissed off and a pissed off Howie makes some kind of move we don't see coming like SB. Curious what he does.

One interesting with all of the HC and coordinator changes is that there may be a number of players we wouldnt have expected on the trade block as they wont fit their new scheme well.

The whole egging the house thing is a bit unfair to pin on Eagles fans as a whole. Everyone in the media/radio/etc said it was gross, uncalled for and condemned any type of action that goes beyond booing at a game. It was some dumb young kids who made a poor decision. It's like blaming Eagles fans as a whole for throwing snowballs at Santa.

Collinsworth: Eagles fans will probably egg his house with one more 3 and out like that

Agreed. He took last year off Bro! I was on his a** early and I think I was pretty accurate. Gave him some props for backtracking and at least trying to make things right in midstream. But a C- offseason (draft/free agency & trades) and year for me.

So from what I've read on here, Nagy is responsible for Mahomes drop in play the last couple years. 🤣🤣🤣

Doesn't Andy Reid run the show over there? Doesn't he run the offense? So if Nagy is the one bringing down Mahomes, then can we ask about Reid......"what does he even do there?" Why didn't Reid step in and make changes mid year?

McDaniel is probably willing to trade Herbert.

We'll still have smitty. Don't need 2 top 15 WR making big money

Hes probably going to want Hurts because he is obviously so much better.

Nagy somehow figured out how to destroy Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes was the GoaT QB up to age 27 and ruined him. Mahomes has been around league average the last 3 years by most metrics.

Nagy took over the 1 1 offense

15 9

15 16

21 20

With Mahomes

He is better than Patullo because so is a dog with buttons. He is still incredibly and historically awful.

If Nagy destroyed Mahomes by himself then that's a major F-up on the part of Andy Reid.

I dont want Nagy but at the same time, he alone didn't bring Mahomes down. Its Reid's show and he controls what goes on with his franchise QB.

You know who brought Mahomes down? Not having Tyreek Hill. Pretty simple. Offense not the same since. WR core had guys like Scantling, Toney, Sky Brown, Schuster getting way too many reps. I mean that kind of crew would bring anyone down. And offensive line slowly deteriorated. Personally, just wasn't great here on offense overall recently. So no offensive coordinator would have brought Mahomes to pre 2022 status. The Chiefs offense was masked considerably by having a Chamionship caliber defense and HOF defensive coordinator in Spags. Kinda envisioned a similar scenario with Fangio and this year's team, but unfortunately this defense ran out of gas and the offense was worse than anticipated. Still stings to not take advantage of a roster that finished last year with a dominating Superbowl looking like a dynasty and then crashing into pieces this year.

One possible hidden upside about an AJ Brown trade is the offense might actually spread the ball around if they don't have to worry about force feeding one person because they'll cry about it for weeks if they don't get thrown to 10 times a game.

Smith's game is also far kinder to QBs as he actually gets separation on routes rather than just outmuscling guys. He'll also age far better since his game isnt dependent on blazing speed or strength.

And when he gets injured we have no one for such amount of time

I don’t want Nagy but forever it was all Andy Reid now when it’s convenient they are saying that the OC needs to be more innovative. Obviously the personnel and Reid himself have declined

Tbh Reid’s decline i feel like is part of why he wanted bieniemy to branch off and get someone in as he aged to to help him more. I think it’s damning bieniemy is back and he’s shooing Nagy away

Sure, pretty much every team deals with that. You don't need an AJ level player, you need a #2. This offense is too expensive, AJ can go

And yet he won two Super Bowls without Hill

Reid has to be tired of it all. Why even keep going at this point? His team is a mess, his QB just tore his ACL, Andy should just retire. He's got the super bowls, he's an all time winning coach, he's done everything.

I think there's no way he's here beyond 2026, and i don't think he gives a F about being here so why keep him where he doesn't want to be? His GAF seemed nonexistent this season.
