There's 4 HC jobs left.

I have more and more doubts Daboll is headed to Buffalo. There seems to be some hangup and Pegula is getting much more involved. I expect this to go sideways.

I'm thinking Klint Kubiak to Raiders.

If Kubiak leaves the creates a very attractive OC opening

Barkley was 10000000000% a factor in the SB win. To say he wasn’t is absolutely crazy, the Chiefs literally sold out defensively to stop him and challenged Hurts to beat them. At the 1/3 mark into the game it was over when Coop returned that pick 6. There was maybe 23 mins of competitive football in that game, maybe and 23 is a stretch lol.

You are 100% correct.

24-0 at the half. 7 points from a pick 6. Eagles offense had a 69 yard TD drive, a 27 yard FG drive and a 12 yard TD drive. At the half, Hurts had 126 yards of offense, a tush push TD, and a TD after an interception giving the Eagles the ball at the 12. The only actual drive, the 69 yard TD drive, was extended by a penalty after a failed 3rd down pass.

At this point the game was over as the defense could pin their ears back. Hurts played a good game, but only attempting 22 passes as the defense controlled the game and turned it into a blowout is not some other worldly MVP performance. The true MVP of this game is the Eagles defensive line. 6 sacks, multiple turnovers, a TD, held the Chiefs to 3-11 3rd down conversions, and 19 yards of total offense in the first half, and Cooper DeJean should have won it, just like Malcolm Smith did (referenced below)

Hurts was 17/22, 221 yards, 2 TD's and a pick, and 11 carries for 72 yards and a TD. 3-12 3rd down conversions, 0-1 4th down conversions.

For comparison, Malcolm Smith was the MVP of the Seahawks super bowl win, Russell Wilson was 18 of 25, 206 yards, 2 TD's and no turnovers and the Seahawks scored 43 points. 7-12 3rd down conversions, 0-2 4th down conversions. Why was he not the MVP, why was Cooper Dejean not MVP last year while having a similar impact to Malcolm Smith on the game.

Now lets look at a real MVP performance. 28/43, 373 yards, 3 TD's and a pick. 1 catch, 1 yard, 1 TD. 10-16 3rd down conversions, 2-2 4th down conversions. Nick Foles did this in a game that the defense could not stop Tom Brady, and he had to go score for score with the GOAT while he was setting the Super Bowl record with 505 passing yards.

Once again, Jalen Hurts played a good game in the Super Bowl, but that is all it was. If you were to line it up statistically against the other QB MVP performances, it doesn't rank top 10, and probably not even top 20. If you want to talk about someone's merits, Nick Foles being referenced as Super Bowl MVP carries 100000x more weight then saying the same about Jalen Hurts.

That's the insecure fan's rooting guide.

Rooting for Rams is dumb. Eagles may want to interview Scheelhaase and Raiders having to wait to hire Kubiak helps the Eagles because Seattle likely won't have an OC opening until the Eagles already hired an OC.

What an idiot. Apparently he is two young to know who Jeff Hostetler is.

I'm rooting for Broncos in the AFC game. Don't care who wins in the NFC game. Just want a good game

I’m rooting for the sun. Get started on an early thaw. I don’t really care who wins/loses, just need something decent to watch.

We don't know how good Parker will be. Remember when people were upset that Dennard Wilson didn't get promoted to DC here and now currently he has no job.

Barkley as a non factor is bad wording by me. But his stats were subpar compared to the incredible season of games he had. No one else had stopped him like that up to that point. Hurts had to step up in the passing game and running game. Yes, the game was over pretty early. They blew out the dynasty team of our era. For people to say he was just the passenger on the ship is stupid talk. He majorly impacted that game and almost played flawlessly as QB1 on the big stage. In 2 out of 2 Superbowls. There's just no taking that away from him.

I love you stat nerds. He did have a 119.7 passer rating. Dont see that in your stats. The game was over by 3rd Quarter and the offense was in milk the clock mode early, as we know Sirianni loves to do. Eagles would have scored 50-60 points if it was needed. So the stats are easy to minimize because he only had to play a half in earnest and the game was over. He did a brilliant job by helping deliver the early knockout punch. Broke the dynasty of the Chiefs. I'll rate it as very good-excellent. Foles was super excellent and historical. Good is almost diminishing it.

Yep. Hurts could have been MVP in the super bowl we lost. He was truly great. But we lost.

The one we won, he simply played like a QB should. Stepped up from bad to good for 1 game. Fact of the matter is, we got to that game in spite of him, on the legs of Barkley and the backs of the entire defense carrying Hurts all the way through the season.

In the actual game, hurts played well but the MVP could/should have gone to a bunch of other players on defense.

That wasnt a real MVP QB game. It was just a lowered bar celebrating a QB doing what he is supposed to do.

Rooting for Patriots and Rams. I think it would be the best possible matchup for entertainment.

Unless Stidham lights it up then I don't want to see Denver in the Super Bowl.

"Lowered the bar." You are so pathetic it his hilarious.

Jalen Hurts in essentially just 3 quarters: 77.3%, 221 passing yards, 10.0 YPA, 2 TD, 1 INT, 119.7 passer rating, 72 yards rushing and 1 rushing TD.

Some highlights to note: 3rd highest completion percentage ever for a QB in a single Super Bowl. He has the highest career pass completion percentage in Super Bowls. The 6th highest passer rating for career in the Super Bowl. Also tied for most career rushing TDs in the Super Bowl for any player of any position.

Some other recent Super Bowl MVP QB performances that Jalen Hurts "lowered the bar" from:

Mahomes: 73.9%, 333 passing yards, 7.2 YPA, 2 TD, 1 INT, 99.3 passer rating, 8 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs.

Mahomes: 77.8%, 182 passing yards, 8.7 YPA, 3 TD, 0 INT, 131.8 passer rating, 44 yards rushing and 0 rushing TDs.

Brady: 72.4%, 201 passing yards, 6.9 YPA, 3 TD, 0 INT, 125.8 passer rating, -2 yards rushing and 0 rushing TDs.

Mahomes: 61.9%, 286 passing yards, 6.8 YPA, 2 TD, 2 INT, 78.1 passer rating, 18 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD.

Flacco: 66.7%, 287 passing yards, 8.7 YPA, 3 TD, 0 INT, 13 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs.

Eli: 75.0%, 296 passing yards, 7.4 YPA, 1 TD. 0 INT, 103.7 passer rating, 14 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs.

Brees: 82.1%, 288 passing yards, 7.4 YPA, 2 TD, 0 INT, 114.5 passer rating, 7 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs.

Rodgers: 61.5%, 304 passing yards, 7.8 YPA, 3 TD, 0 INT, 111.5 passer rating, 16 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs.

Eli: 55.9%, 255 passing yards, 7.5 YPA, 2 TD, 1 INT, 87.3 passer rating, 8 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs

Peyton: 65.8%, 247 passing yards, 6.5 YPA, 1 TD, 1 INT, 81.8 passer rating, 8 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs.

Brady: 59.3%, 145 passing yards, 5.4 YPA, 1 TD, 0 INT, 86.2 passer rating, 7 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs.

Hurts led the team in rushing and scored 3 TDs and Eagles fans are mad he won the MVP.
