You are talking about how they designated him as he was inducted into the hall. I am talking about how he got elected.

No way in hell do they just randomly put him in 38 years after he finished playing.

He was a DC who won 2 SBs and was inducted in 2010 after winning his 2nd SB in 2008.

They list all his career playing accomplishments, and then there’s a quick blur at the end that he coached until 2017.

Jerry Kramer was inducted into the pro football Hall of Fame 50 years after he retired

I don’t usually get personal on here, but your post hit me. I’ve been where you are. I’ve had a couple suicide attempts in my past and spent time in inpatient treatment afterward. I’m still in therap

1 dude who makes anti Foles comments once in a blue moon vs the Cult of We Hate Hurts...

I will take Koy every day. Just scroll past the comment.

You should never be able to make any negative comments about Nick Foles, he was the first eagle quarterback to win a Super Bowl, and he beat the goat to do it

It's an unpopular opinion, but I think I prefer Nagy over Daboll

That's the amusing part, the Hurts Hater cult doesn't realize they've become the new RTK.

Good way to find out you're a masochist lol

Lol. Are you on the committee? That may make an exception? Guy hasn't even retired yet. I need you to show me that a defensive coordinator (and former head coach) can not make the HOF and I will agree with you. He's a living legend. Period.

Spags never won anything as a head coach. Find me one defensive coordinator inducted as a coach, who did not also win a ring as a head coach. You won't because not a single one has ever been inducted.

I'm actually making fun of Hazelton for his ridiculous statement earlier that Hurts winning Super Bowl MVP lowers the bar for Super Bowl MVP QBs.

Thats not what I implied.

My goodness, our O coaches sucked this year. Staggering how bad they were.

It's what you wrote.

Stidham looks like he’s back in Stephenville running that zone read.

If Payton somehow wins a SB with stidham it would be a really amazing coaching job. At least when Foles took over he had some history of playing really well and at a high level earlier in his career. He had some NFL success. Stidham has never shown that in the NFL to have that type of success and they didn’t have a couple weeks to prepare to maximize him (SB week off but 8 days from afc divisional round to afc title game)

Nope. The bar is lowered for Hurts. I never said anything about other super bowl QBs. You guys want to celebrate hurts for completing average passes, and not throwing interceptions.

That's the Cult with their normal idiocy. Hurts played like an MVP in 2 SBs.

Saquon ran for 59 at sub 3 per carry. Hurts ran for 74 at 6.5 a pop and dominated with his arms and his legs.

If you were to rank SB MVPs for worthiness, Hurts for 2024 is probably around 20. (Steve Young, Montana, Phil Simms, etc just had some monster games)

Peyton Manning and Namath are at the very bottom.

If you re-pick the MVP and allow for the best player on the losing team as well then Hurts now has 2 SB MVPs. (like Hextall or Howley)

His 2022 game would be top 12 or so even in the loss. He was that good.

I think what the low IQ chumps need to understand as every SB ends is that they are free to make their own:

MVAC for assistant coach

MVU for Most valuable unit so the 2024 Eagles can win that one. (Defense, yeehaw , BTA!)

MVPotBUitG - Most Valuable Player on the best unit in the game (you can give this to Josh Sweat, or 4 other guys)

The award is MVP and Hurts was the best player in the game.

Josh Sweat, Cooper DeJean, Milton Williams, and Zack Baun were tied for best defensive Eagle in that game. None really rose above the others.

Hunt and Asante also made huge plays.

Completing average passes. He had 10.0 YPA. He won Super Bowl MVP because he was great in it.

New England just crashing everyone to stop the run and force broncos to throw

I like your knowledge on this. And you make a great case. I think if he can win one more, he's in. Because of the utter domination. That would give him a total of 5 Championships which has never happened. No one has even won 4 Chamionships. That's why it's still a TBD to see where he's at. Chiefs still have Mahomes. Not over yet. He could play 5-10 more years easy.

These damn CBS games and the down/yards to go transition looks like a flag every play. I always forget about it watching mainly games on Fox. How did any designer approve this?

People are too high on Daboll and too low on Nagy. Perception of these coaches is often so out of whack. I don't want either as OC, but I think Nagy would work way better with our other coaches + Lowie/analytics/etc. And you would hope he's learned some things from Andy after all these years. He gets way too much ish for not doing well with Mitch Trubisky as his QB. And Daboll gets way too much credit for "developing" Josh Allen.
