Counterpoint: The Chiefs offense bottomed out with him as the OC and they apparently soft-fired him.

I hope we sign Julian Vandervelde this week. I just wanna feel like we're doing something!

It will be Brett Toth!

Howell went 6-4-2 in his last year after Landry and Lombardi left the Giants.

He quit after that year citing physical and mental exhaustion.

He was in their Front Office until 1979.

I don’t think Trubisky was very good anyways. But Nagi feels like the type of guy things don’t go well he’s just gonna start blaming everybody but himself. I really rather not deal with him

What?

Landry is not in the HOF for his 5 years as the Giants DC, he is in for his 28 years as the Cowboys head coach.

Same with Lombardi.

Stupid broncos left six points out there

Wilson had the #2 yards D (but 30th in scoring) in 2024. This does not mean he was good or even competent.

The combo of a hideous and turnover prone offense, a rancid special teams, and teams resting and laughing in the 4th quarter gave him that 2nd in yards number.

Teams win or lose based on scoring, not yards. 30th really sucks.

Without that weird combo in 2025, his D ranked 21 28.

This is not a big hire. He is nothing special.

Broncos missing FGs and turning over on downs in the red zone is a recipe to lose this game.

At this rate, Im having a hard time seeing either of these teams beating whoever comes out of the NFC.

I have a sneaking suspicion Seattle is gonna win 2 more blowouts

Vrabel is so annoying

This game so far in one gif...

Rams have been known to keep teams in games. Seattle doesn’t really play with its food.

They played 2 really close games but only because Seattle kept giving the ball to the Rams in both.

Seattle is playing peak right now.

The Rams peaked in November.

My rough odds on that one:

1/3 the Seahawks win a close one

1/3 the Rams win a close one

1/3 Seattle wins by 13+

Staffford had 5 turnover worthy plays vs Chicago.

Both fumbles bounced to Rams.

The Bears dropped 3 picks.

No need to pretend Stafford is playing well right now. He himself said he is not.

I'd be okay with it

Imo I think the Rams and Seattle are the two best teams. I think the Rams have more flaws that could be exposed. Particularly on defense. I just think the Rams offensive ceiling is higher if Stafford plays at his best. I kind of think it’s gonna wind up coming down to the fourth quarter.

For the Broncos to win without scoring a lot more points, if they can just move the ball a little bit and keep time of possession then by the fourth quarter New England’s defense might start wearing out. Still think New England wins this, but i do think the elevation and fatigue may show up if Denver can keep up the timeof possession. Have a 6 min advantage at halftime

Jim Lee Howell was the Giants coach. He won a championship. He got to another one. He was 53-27-1.

He is not in the HoF. (their coach means Howell)

His OC was Lombardi

His DC was Landry.

Landry and Lombardi are not in the HOF because of their stint as OC or DC. They are in as head coaches. You really need to take the L on this. Landry's stint as a DC is mentioned as a footnote. They don't even make reference to Lombardi being an OC.

Did it just start snowing? Nice

Maybe some coaches didn’t want to come here because the fans are retarded? You know half of em want Siri fired and Hurts traded not even a year after a SB win and SB mvp? I mean could be? Or they don’t want their house egged if they call a bad game?

i don't see how thats a first down..the ball is not over 🤣🤣
doubt it gets over turned though

For hyping up the bringing in those defensive players they didn't really do much
