i don't see how thats a first down..the ball is not over 🤣🤣
doubt it gets over turned though

I don’t think it’s gonna get overturned. it looked like he was stopped short. But you don’t know where the hell the ball is. This is like the Josh Allen thing last year. Where it looked like Josh Allen was over the line, but you don’t know where the ball is because you couldn’t see it at any point in time. So you can’t conclusively overturn it based on what they called

For hyping up the bringing in those defensive players they didn't really do much

There wasn't a lot of movement from them..if anything they should've been lined up on LOS not behind maye

Landry and Lombardi are not in the HOF because of their stint as OC or DC. They are in as head coaches. You really need to take the L on this. Landry's stint as a DC is mentioned as a footnote. They don't even make reference to Lombardi being an OC.

Ok, I left off the fact that you have trouble with reading comprehension so here goes.

HE (not me) said that Their HC (Howell) was not in the HoF. This is 100% true no matter how much you fail to understand the words that he wrote.

Those Giants were good because of the OC and the DC, and not the HC.

THESE ARE THE EXACT QUOTED WORDS THAT WERE BEYOND YOUR COMPREHENSION

Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry were coordinators. Their HC is not in the HoF.

Yeah, I know.

You have some weird agenda that the HoF voters were unaware that LeBeau was also a 2x SB winning DC but that has nothing to do with your epic fail of a reply.

I was just explaining what the English words meant since you clearly had no idea.

Looked like the view from above showed the ball was in his gut which was behind the 1st down

lolfigures

yeah, but you can’t see the ball. This is what we were talking about last year about why Josh Allen didn’t get the first down. It’s not conclusive. You can assume the ball is there and we all do but they’re not gonna overturn it as it’s not conclusive evidence. they’ve shown this the past two postseason’s.

Denver cannot go 3 and out here on offense. If they do that defense is going to get run into the ground and New England might break it open.

Putting something in the ball would help in those situations

If the weird point is somehow that a DC will never go into the HoF just for being a DC...

Its a completely different game now with a completely different set of voters who have access to all sorts of data.

The clear value of DCs, OCs, and other coaches can be better understood now.

They are way more valuable that punters and kickers, who are also in the Hall.

Good luck in your crusade to keep a 4x SB wining DC (Spags) out of the Hall of Fame.

What does the Denver offense play calling remind you of?

Pat kirwin talked about this sort of stuff on Sirius this week. Saying nfl should be proactive in things to get calls right. Gave a bunch of solutions. Nfl really continues to drop the ball in doing much

The best you can do with a guy who probably shouldn’t be on an NFL roster in this spot.

Probably over half the time I hate the result, but i admire the NFL for trying their best to keep the human element an integral part of the game.

Its still a league where someone can kick you in the groin then you shove them and the ref only calls you for the shove.

Don't hold your breath on them ever getting anything right.

Frankly, if there was ever gonna be a massive change, it probably should’ve been after that NFC title game with the saints/rams that changed a potential champion. They threw a bone for a year then went back to business as usual

Mack Hollins flea flicker!!!!

New England has basically had the ball for 13:24 this quarter yet somehow up just 3

I would like to say my hatred for Matt Nagy isn’t because he’s involved in the Eagles OC search. It is in general. I don’t think he’s a very good coach. Skippy touched on some of it. Also if you can’t get the top OCs you really wanted, but you like someone who’s young and doesn’t have the experience then I would go with the young up and comer. I’d rather go Doyle or Weiss jr. Tbh I’d go Weiss jr over Nagy simply cause the NFL is using a lot of the stuff from college. So getting a guy who’s done at the highest level in college and had success, then I believe he can incorporate some of that stuff from college level.

I was of that opinion too but I have recently changed my mind. I'm a big Jalen supporter but I am also reasonable and can admit that he needs be much better than he was this season and it seems like based on reports he needs to be more open to being told what to do. I just don't see a young first time OC coming in and coaching him hard like that. A guy like Nagy likely would and certainly Daboll would who is my first choice by a mile right now. On a side not the reason I am so vehemently against JBC is because if he comes in he will be 100% running Sirianni's offense which is the last thing we need to do. I am still holding out hope for Daboll or Brady but after that the drop off is huge and I would prefer someone like Nagy who is just ok. I can't stress enough that I don't want Nagy though but if it's down to him, JBC, and Kafka he is the easy choice in my opinion.

Such a shame that games like these will become extinct once every team has an indoor stadium.

Denver is building an indoor one soon.

The better camera and TV tech gets, the harder it’s going to be to keep the human factor the decision making focal point and not reach the boiling point on the ‘fixing’ thing that’s become prevalent. Honestly i miss the days of real time only replay, limited slow motion/angles with ridiculous breaks where the commentators can sit and speculate. They need to figure out what a catch and INT is first though.

This is old school playoff football. A dying thing with the way stadiums are constructed these days. Everything is a factor. Honestly this is a great game.

Well my point is that the Denver offense has no debate about the issue. They cannot trust their QB to throw the ball much. They have curtailed their offense, the route concepts, the play design to reflect that limitation.

And what does the design of that compensatory offense look like? Ours.
