YIKES. Nothing new for us, but the comparison is laughable.

Yeah, it's ridiculous.

Crazy no one would want the job. Pretty good track record for anyone external of the organization and I would think there are some good pieces to create and fit a scheme with.

AJ wins 1v1 if you scheme him open

Devonta can be used like JSN is being used

Te who knows if dallas is back but if he is another strong target like aj

Rbs saquon and tank could be huge mismatches if used correctly

Maybe add a speedster wr and you have a lot of different concepts to use against other defenses

They’re probably thinking if the offense struggles again then they’re out along with Nick next offseason

Rooney Rule is for HC hires.

It's for Coordinators and GM's now also

It's pretty clear by now. None of these guys want to come here because of...

Jake Elliott. Can't hit PATs anymore. angry

Webb already has a few HC interviews. I'd be curious if he takes the gamble of leaving Payton for an OC job or if he sits tight for the next HC cycle if he doesn't get a job this year.

He might see it as a chance to get more exposure in wider sport, both by getting away from an Offensive HC as a coach to build your own brand and also get the available autonomy to prove you can be a HC. The Eagles have a good record of coaches moving onto better jobs, so an ambitious younger coach could think yep, that's for me.,

Is Joe Brady still doing head coach interviews? Hoping we hear him connected to the Eagles at some point soon. If they don't even give him an interview that would be a joke.

I don't think there was any momentum with Doyle. I never felt like he was going to get the job. They were not going to hire a 29 year old OC with no play calling experience.

Tbh that felt like we want to interview you to see where you are now. And if next year or down the road we make changes to the HC we have intel on you and potentially a candidate for HC job

We simply don't know how many of these guys the Eagles were seriously considering.

I do think part of it is information gathering for the Eagles.

A day later and I still can't tell if they gave him extra padding to look even fatter. Is he wearing shoulder pads? Is it supposed to be Billy Bob from Varsity Blues? Is it Peter Griffin as a young man? What in the world was this?

it’s very dangerous is what it is.

With this roster, they don't really need the most genius creative play caller out there. They don't need top innovation or creativity. They don't need someone who's worked with big names per se. They don't need the "name" candidates everyone knows.

What they need most is someone with experience calling plays, knowing what to call in the right moments of the game. And having a solid consistent process throughout the week in preparation. Multiple players have talked about not being on the same page and about process. Nick should be good at those things as well so what was he doing, but whatever. They should have the O line healthy again and likely some new additions (draft and free agency). They've got a great 1-2 punch at RB, two 1,000 yard receivers. We'll see about TE. And people debate Hurts endlessly and he's had ups and downs but he is capable of doing much more in the passing game, he did it in 2021 and 2022 under Steichen, even did better in 2023 under BJ (minus the INTs). A competent OC that has experience and knows how to coach to the players strengths will be a huge upgrade over Patullo.

Eagles promoted Joe Kasper to DB coach.

Good? You are aware nobody wants this job right?

He's having an in person second interview with Raiders today. I also think I saw he might have another with the Cardinals.

You know your search isn’t going well when you’re reaching out to CJ Stroud’s QB coach

Lots of people are ok with Slowik…

He was a ‘hot up and comer’ coming off the 22 season (IIRC) with Minny.

At the end of the day, Stroud is exactly the QB most of the world thought he was coming out of college.

The Eagles really should trade Nick to them and sign Kubiak.
