Parker interviewing with Cowboys Wednesday. Not sure if that means today or next week?

I think the Eagles are more attractive a job than the Bucs. I’m more worried about the Lions for McDaniel.

I don't know If he was a terrible head coach. He was dealt a bad hand a lot of times because of a ish GM as well as Tua in and out of the lineup all the time, as well as regressing. He almost beat the bills in the playoffs with Skylar Thompson. Even this year, the Dolphins could have easily quit on him but he got them better as the season went on.

Yeah I would have perma wood until the season started if they got McDaniel.

I really hope we get McDaniel. I’m sure he has his flaws, but from both a strategic and tactical level I think he’d be a great fit here.

Strategically, he has put together a creative, explosive offense which keeps defenses on their heels. And yet, he also knows how to incorporate a run game and isn’t just some pass happy one dimensional freak. Combine that with Stoutland’s influence, and I think we could see something special. And if our offense can start to get big early leads for this defense? That could win a ton of games.

Tactically, he has proven to be able to incorporate a lot of different playmakers into his team: multiple pro bowl quality RBs in a rotation, a duo of star receivers, and a pro bowl level TE. I think that bodes well for our backfield and WRs. Perhaps the one critique someone could make is he didn’t utilize a big WR like Brown.

My concern would be the inevitable politics involving Sirianni, the new OC, and Patullo, who is Siri’s buddy. That’s a recipe for backbiting, and questionable loyalties. No thank you. Sirianni has already made a bad decision promoting Patullo; no sense in compounding it. If he wants to keep Patullo they can both go.

I think they would love to move on from Siri, they know he adds very little and needs to be babysat by his Coordinators, they just don’t have the balls to don’t.

Only Philadelphia fans would want to fire a HC less than a year after winning a SB.

For many of us, we never thought we'd sniff 1 SB, let alone multiple. Now if we dont win every game and win the SB 5 years straight then its a waste.

Like some others have posted already, there seems to be unreal expectations with this team like they should never lose.

In fact, at one point this year (giant set of one example lol), I thought he looked faster than last year (nagging injury?). So it is 100% HIM being tentative. And it is plainly due to his desire to get down sooner so he is looking a bunch.

It will be so irritating if they actually keep KP around on the new staff. For the reason you mentioned plus it is so obvious that KP was one of the sources who was constantly leaking stuff throughout the season to try to make him look better. You can't have rats like that around.

O-line needs to be better and healthier.

Otherwise it won't matter if we have Bill Walsh calling plays.

Say that came to fruition. We hire him, juggernaut offense. Win the Super Bowl. He’s gone. Then back to square one with our clown coach. Best to rid ourselves of Siri and hire an actual offensive coach who can support. Call plays or not, they can help. Siri can’t do anything

It would be another Superbowl win. Who cares? Isnt that what matters most?

We can hire new OC's every year for all I care if it means we're in or winning a SB every 2-3 years.

There's no guarantee that with a different coach or OC that the Eagles are winning the SB every year. Especially when certain aspects of the team, like the O-line, took a step back and didn't play as well or was nearly as healthy.

Its extremely hard to win a SB.

Going forward it sucks for the QBs if they change often, but Howie will be picking the OC for a long time.

And maybe that's okay. OC is locked in now and worst case we switch to ™ or someone else. Roster is pretty jacked so won't take long to ramp up. Don't think Lowie is going to put up with another year of offensive quicksand (and a playoff loss). And if Hurts does find his mojo, so much the better. He's on the clock now.

Harbaugh would probably be a good hire. They still would need to add a DC. It makes me wonder if Monken could stay with him.
